Baking with the Pioneer Woman

Hey all, I wanted to show you a quick set of pics from the first half of Monday. Pioneer Woman made her Chocolate Sheet cake recipe (so yummy, by the way) for some cupcakes and then I showed her a few tips on using fondant. Here’s a peek. We had a blast. I’ll recap the photos later, but for now enjoy!

  34. What a beautiful place! Looks like there was some serious creativity and inspiration going on! I have a question. Not sure if you can answer on the comments section, but my daughter will be turning 21 this week. I would like to try your cake pops! How long do they last? Can I make them ahead. How do you store them? Also, are there local stores that sell the edible pens or do you have to order them online? What beautiful blogs! You girls rival any magazine out there! You should be in print!

  35. You lucky ducky you!!!!!

    Just call me jealous!!!

  36. I lived in Oklahoma for 9 years and moved back home to NC almost 2 years ago. I never realized how much I actually miss it. Looks like you’re having a good time! :)

    Wish I was there too.

  40. What can I say!!! If you could see me now, you would think I’m Shrek related, so GREEN am I right now because of the envy. I’m sure you had a great time together. And… by the way, the kitchen in the photos is quite similar to the kitchen in my dreams. Snif!

    xoxo for both.

  41. Wow… my first time to you (courtesy of P Dub of course!). I am not jealous at all. All that washing up. All that mess. All that filming and focussing… nope. Not jealous!!

Seriously, your cakes are adorable and I love, love your slideshow from the day’s activities. Know that when you maximise on a big screen those pixels go a little crazy. But I HAD to check it out at maximum velocity!

    Will check back later…
