Happy Sunday! And Happy Father’s Day, too! I’m giving away something sweet to celebrate summer and of course ice cream.
You know, I think I could eat ice cream every day. It’s always my favorite go-to treat when I travel… but I never really get ice cream at restaurants. That just seems boring. Probably because it’s not as fun as going into a scoop shop and looking all the pretty creamy colors. And I always prefer eating ice cream out of a cup. I don’t like to eat it out of a cone because I’m way messy. So if I do get it in a cone, it’s just so I can snap a picture of it. Then I turn it upside down and dump it in a cup and eat it with a spoon – or better yet – I like to break up the waffle cone (never a sugar cone) and use it to scoop out the ice cream. I may be weird.

My favorite is good ol’ vanilla with fresh strawberries on top and I will take it whatever way I can get it but do prefer a cone!

I’ve had a real craving (for the last year) for ice cream!!! Where I once obsessed over cupcakes, I now go crazy for ice cream. Any kind of ice cream too, not picky at all. And sadly, I gave away my ice cream maker, I’ve missed it so. :(

Chocolate/caramel swirl (Yuengling brand Black & Tan is my favorite) or chocolate ice cream loaded with brownie and cookie batter bits. Preferably by IV…but usually from a giant bowl, or straight from the pint package.
Ooooo I LOVE Chocolate in many many ways! Soooo Chocolate Ganash with Dark Chocolate Chips in Triple dips in a Huge bowl! Yuuuummmmmyyyyy! Oh ya with Sea Salt Potato chips on the side!

I LOVE salted caramel ice cream, with salted caramel sauce mixed in. As long as it’s that flavor, I could eat it with my hands for all I care. ;)
I’m a cookie girl so my favorite ice cream will come as no surprise – chocolate chip cookie dough! My favorite ice cream treat comes from an old ice cream establishment in Jacksonville, FL, called the Dreamette. They smush cookie dough into a cup and put their wonderful, dreamy vanilla soft serve on top and I always ask for some hot fudge on top of that. It’s to die for.
My favorite ice cream place has the best Peach Ice Cream. It’s more peachy than creamy, and it’s the more dense type of ice cream. I take it in a cup, with a sturdy spoon.

I love my local ice cream store where they combine ingredients on a slab of marble and plunk it in my bowl. My favs are things like a sweet vanilla or lemon sherbet with coconut flakes, bitty marshmallows, pineapple & mandarin orange. MMMMM!!

My favorite flavor of all time is pralines and cream with extra caramel sauce BUT lately with the cotton candy craze, I have to admit, I really love every brand I’ve tried of cotton candy ice cream. If I had my own ice cream maker you can bet your sprinkles cotton candy ice cream would be first on the list. And my favorite way to eat ice cream? I have a set of vintage blue ice cream glasses for sundaes, floats, banana splits, etc, and I always use those!

I used to work at Baskin Robbins, so my favorite flavor was Gold Medal Ribbon – swirls with caramel goodness, gummy bears, whipped cream cherry on top single scoop!
My favourite combination is yoghourt with hazelnut, from a cup or bowl if I am at home.
A scoop of mint chocolate chip and a scoop of peppermint stick sharing a bowl together with just a drizzle of chocolate syrup.
My all time favorite ice cream was a limited time flavor at Baskin Robins they had a few summers ago, it was golden Oreos in lemon flavored ice cream. I can’t find it anywhere anymore!!! So now I settle for Oreo cookies and cream.

My very favorite was a Ben and Jerry’s creme brulee – that they discontinued! and the best way to eat it was straight from the container! right now I’m dieting and loving Skinny Cow’s snickerdoodle ice cream sandwiches!
I made a blueberry cardamom ice cream once. I loved it! The flavors was so new to me. Just a scoop of that and I was so happy!
