I start law school in the fall (my husband just finished and we didn’t think the kids would manage without both parents for three years). I stopped working earlier this year and have been able to spend the entire summer with my kiddos. Every moment has been fun! Especially when I think I could be sitting at a desk wondering how they are doing in daycare at that particular moment. :)

I went to Italy, Sardinia at the beginning of the summer hoping to get some sunshine as it was still pretty cold at the end of May over where I live. Unfortunate for us, we arrived there in the time when they were experiencing the coldest spring/summer in the last 200 years. It was raining 5 out of 7 days we spent there.
Ironically, it was one of the hottest weeks in Latvia where I’m from and while we’re indoors waiting for the rain to stop pouring, our friends at home enjoyed themselves by the beach.
Nevertheless, it was an amazing trip because the people you’re together with counts!
