Our family went to Niagara Falls this summer. The falls are amazing we even had the opportunity to walk from the Canadian side to New York so we could see the falls from right up above them, truly beautiful.

Have made two darling Princess Crowns for my two Granddaughters – looking forward to the local garden center’s Fairy Princess Party that I take them to yearly – it’s the first weekend in August. We have to pick them up the day before as they live two hours away so it’s a whole weekend of FUN with our grandchildren! Hubby is going to do something special with grandson – like golf! Making home made ice cream with them together would finish off a wonderful weekend!

Wow…the ice cream looks amazing!! If making ice cream with the Cuisineart ygourt, sorbet & ice cream maker looks that yummy, I am sure the taste must be even more divine! Winning would be an absolute treat!! This summer has been a busy one. I plan each weekend of fun for our family, but by far the most I anticipate having will be at Disneyland next month. We look forward to California’s amazing food, treats, weather and beaches!

How about travelling around Europe? Went to London, then Paris, followed by Madrid and Barcelona, then Rome, Venice, Florence, and Amalfi Coast/Sorrento/Positano/Naples, finished by Prague and Krakow.

The greatest art galleries and churches and castles in the world; saw the salt mines and Auschwitz in Poland, Phantom and Lion King on the West End, life size robotic dinosaurs in the Natural History Museum, London Dungeons, Tower of London, Montmartre, the Magic Fountain, the Dragon’s Lair (complete with dragon), Vatican City, and hundreds of other impossibly amazing things I couldn’t begin to remember off the top of my head.

All the while, tasting as much tapas, artisan gelati, pasta, Parisian macarons, and Czech and Polish cuisine as possible. Also lots and lots and lots of cocktails (the Europeans do it right, let me tell you!).
