Fondant

Working with fondant can be fun. Its kind of like edible play-dough and allows you to create designs you otherwise couldn't achieve with buttercream frosting. Don't be scared. Get a box of rolled fondant from your local craft store and just experiment. I think you'll find it's easier than you think.
