“I just wanted to send you a quick picture of some cake pops i make last night for a charity event at my husband’s work today….I made 75…they sold out in minutes! I fell in love with this cupcake/candy mould and wanted to try to make cake pops with them… It was a little tricky, but I think they turned out great!” – Nadia

  3. GREAT JOB!!!!! I’VE JUST STARTED THE CAKE BALLS AND POPS. EVERYONE AT WORK LOVES THEM. I ENJOYED MAKE THEM FOR CHRISTMAS AND FIXING TO MAKE SOME FOR VALENTINES DAY.

  4. Hi Ladies! Sorry – I just realized I was added to Pop Stars!!!
    Thanks for all the compliments!!

@Beth – YES! that is the same mould I used!

I did pour the candy melts/chocolate into the moulds first, then while it was still liquid, I put a little cakeball inside, then piped some candy melts/chocolate on top and stuck the stick in…then put it in the freezer for a few minutes…

Once they had set…I popped them out and stuck them in styrofoam…they were very pretty at this stage, but then I decided to ‘decorate’ them some more by piping some of the leftover candy melts/chocolate onto them. :) They are a bit finicky – but worth it! :) good luck!

  5. I have just picked up a set of candy moulds similar to these. I hope I get mine to look as nice. Look out for a photo :)

  6. I think what you would have to do to get such fine detail with a mold would be to first paint/pour in your colored coatings or chocolates, let them dry and harden, and then press in the cake pop mixture. You could seal them with more coating or leave the bottoms open.

  7. Great idea and excellent work, Nadia!
