“I am writing you to thank you for your inspiration. About 2 yrs ago I got laid off from my job at a brokerage firm which happened to coincide with the birth of my first child. What was meant to be a happy time in my life turned into chaos, my son was colicky, my husband worked around the clock to compensate for my job loss and my father in law developed cancer. It was a rocky year (or so..) but when thanksgiving came around I wanted to make something great for dessert and I came upon your website. I made some cupcake pops and they were such a huge hit it inspired to make some more, and more….and more. The reception they got was just the fuel I needed to fire up my creativity again after years of disuse. Cake pops have been the perfect hobby for me since I became a stay at home mom, since I can’t always get out of the house and you can do it alone! But more than that I think it has given me an opportunity to pursue my own business. After 2yrs of unemployment and frustration with tirelessly searching for a job, being disappointed and fearing my marketability to the workforce is declining with each dirty diaper I change, making cake pops gave me the motivation to say why not to possibilities beyond what I had thought of for myself.
