Pop Stars: Melanie and Mitsy in California
“My best friend and I made these cookie jar cake pops recently during our first Craft Camp. Her boyfriend has “Man Camp” so we started our own. Re: The cookie cereal are imitation cookie crisp from the dollar store. “COOKIEZ” if memory serves. We also took a black edible ink pen and darkened some of the chips or added some wherever needed.” – Mitsy

The wrappers are the normal candy bags they sell at Michaels. I just placed a felt heart sticker in the center of the tie and stretched out the wire tie so it’d look like an arrow through the heart. Felt hearts from Target, around valentine’s day.

March 29, 2011 12:27 PMWhat about actually using famous amos small cookies? or like some bite sized chips ahoy! Cereal cookies are ucky…… lol. Just sayin that’d be cute!!!
March 29, 2011 02:12 PMWe just hand shaped each jar and then placed it on to a melt. Similar to the Pooh honey pots.
Yeah i think chips ahoy would be more delicious but kinda bulky. Aesthetically the cereal worked best.
