I’ve been in spring break mode lately. You might have noticed since I didn’t bake last weekend. I think it’s because I recently went on a vacation which I haven’t done in a couple of years and it felt awesome to just relax and do nothing. And now being back home I can’t stop enjoying the warmth that’s finally taking over. Spring is probably my favorite time of the year. Unfortunately, in the south, you only have about seven minutes to enjoy the season before the hot and humid heat of summer takes over. Okay, okay – I’m exaggerating a little. It probably lasts eleven minutes. ; ) So you’ve got to enjoy all of them while they last. And I’m trying.

Without second thought my vacation love is working through the backlog of bookmarked recipes to share with family and friends. The printer gets a work out from the ones I file electronically, the books get pulled from the shelves and are given a chance to air and shine and the memory factors in for all the ones I’m sure I filed but can’t be sure where! The music is on, the kitchen smells awesome and I’m on holiday, baby!
To help get a bit closer to baking perfection, I would choose the Crystal Blue KitchenAid, and I would be beyond appreciative every time I laid eyes on it!

My favorite thing to do in the summer is to go on horseback riding trails with my grandmother. Last summer, we loaded the horses up and drove to the Laurel Mountains and rode around for 6 hours (got a bit lost in the process) and had a blast! When I think vacation I think beaches! Pink is my colour.
I wish to go to any places in Europe, wandering around a small village, riding the bike around the small alleys, or have freshly baked pastries every morning.

Silver Metallic because it is more earthy. Not a hipster by any means but my favorite vacation is going camping with family and friends. I live for the weekends around a campfire while having amazing conversation and making incredible memories!
My favorite place to go on vacation was definitely Hawaii!
