As for my favorite cupcake combo, I'm a sucker for rich chocolate and a great buttercream (yum!), but speaking of displays, I was surfing around looking for cupcake boxes and such when I stumbled upon this great website that had these wonders: http://www.save-on-crafts.com/cupcaketree.html

cardboard cupcake trees! In all sorts of sizes, square or round, with room on the top for more cupcakes or a small fondant-covered cake. Maybe this isn't big news, but I don't own any cupcake displays because I never felt wilton was worth the splurge. I mean, they don't hold that many, and how many times will I really use one anyway? That being said I find the cardboard ones fantastic. I want to launch myself as sort of a desserts-for-hire deal, and it's great knowing I can afford to do these displays for any parties that might come my way
