They Got Me

The other day I was doing a little impromptu shopping. I had already spent more than I wanted and I was about to pass the Williams-Sonoma store. I said to myself. “Walk faster. Faster. Don’t look in. You don’t need anything else. Whatever you do…

…don’t stop…

Don’t look in the …”

photo

Dang. They got me.

I really tried not to go in, but how could I be complete without these Star Wars Cookie Cutters. I knew if I left empty handed, I’d wish I had bought them in the off chance someone I know wants Boba Fett cookies one day. So I went in, telling myself the whole time I would just have a peek. I can resist.

IMG_0100

I can resist so well that I only bought two. One for me and one for you. Okay, one for one of you.

IMG_0033

Now, I like to bake to go along with a giveaway if I can, but I knew I wouldn’t have enough time to make and pipe these this weekend and I just couldn’t wait to show you these cutters. Plus, my piping skills might deter you from wanting to try them. Piping royal icing is a skill I need to work on, but the way to go if you’re up for it. They’d still be super cute just like this photo from the back of the box, though.

IMG_0079

The cutters have plungers that make impressions in the sugar cookie dough as you cut shapes.

IMG_0066

You can whip up some Storm Troopers…

IMG_0072

A Dark Lord perhaps.

IMG_0075

Maybe some Boba Fett’s just so you can say the name over and over.

IMG_0073

And you have to make Yoda, of course. Make him you should. And eat him you shall.

But… but wait… where’s Chewbacca and R2-D2? What’s up with that? I want to nibble on a little Wookiee. And maybe a little Harrison Ford.

They need a second edition. Fingers crossed.

IMG_0052

The set comes packaged in a cute box with a recipe for cookies and icing.

Besides the kiddies going gaga for these, I think it would make a great gift for Daddy’s Day. Well, it might make some Daddy’s Day, not all.

  1. Return of the Jedi is my absolute favorite of the trilogy. While I love all the movies and characters…Chewy especially, Return of the Jedi wins hands down simply because of the EWOKS. I love EWOKS and have since I was a little girl. I always wanted an EWOK…well Wicket to be exact. He is adorable. I love them so much that I bought the EWOK movies when they came out.
My seven year old daughter loves them so much that we recently adopted a kitten (just two weeks ago) and she named her Wicket.
Love the cutters and they should not only add Chewy, R2D2 and C3PO but they should had a little Ewok as well.

  2. I’m not a Star Wars fan but my husband and daughter are huge fans. It’s hard for me to resist any cute cookie cutters, though.

  3. I think my boys would explode like the Death Star if I made these cookies!! :)

  4. My first PG movie at the Theater was Star Wars. I was 10.

Help me Obi one Knobe, you’re my only hope, is my ringtone.

  5. My favorite is still the first movie, A New Hope. But my son is completely obsessed with all the Star Wars he can get. He loves A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back, and the new Clone Wars series. I cannot count how many Star Wars toys and books he has. Everything in his life comes back to Star Wars. He does like Indiana Jones now also, but it DOES have Han Solo in the lead role, you know! He would not let me rest until we owned these cookie cutters if he knew they existed.

  6. These are incredible!!!!My 13 y.o would love these. He has such a large collection of Star Wars stuff (some are from the 1st trilogy) that he turned my nephew into a star wars freak too. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE choose me.

  7. My favorite characters from Star Wars are the cute ones!! Aka R2D2 and the little Ewoks. If I lived on Endor I would walk around hugging all the residents.

  8. These are fantastic!

  9. Princess Leia all the way!! Thanks for your awesome bolg! Love it and the cookie cutters!!

  10. I’m really more of a trekkie myself. But I’m nothing compared to my dad, who has an engineer costume (basically one of those suits that’s got gold on top), and a fake faser (phaser?)
I cannot tell you how cute those cookie cutters are.

  11. Cool! Those are neat!

  12. I WANT THOSE COOKIE CUTTERS, MY HUSBAND LOVE STAR WARS AND I LOVE YODA!

  13. I love The Empire Strikes Back. Can’t wait for my little boys to get into Star Wars!

  14. When the original Star Wars came out I was 14. To this day my friends from high school & I still discuss going to see it at the Mid Island Mall in Hickscille, New York.. What an experience!

  15. I was a very, very chubby baby. I have a picture of my less than a year old that is well known as my “jabba the hut” picture. I need this cookie cutters!

  16. I like the movies that came out in the late 70’s and early 80’s. The newer ones don’t do it for me.

  17. Ohmigod, I sooo want these! They are hilarious, especially the Yoda. But you’re right, there definitely needs to be a Wookie, and how about a Princess Leia with the earmuff hairdo?
I am supposed to be far too old for this sort of stuff, but I still want an At-At on my mantlepiece – is that too much to ask for?

  18. These are soooooooo cute!! My dad LOVED star wars!!

  19. My son is named Luke after Luke Skywalker :). His nickname is wookie so there’s some confusion there. My husband loves talking to our not yet 1 year old in a raspy Darth Vader-y voice… “Luke, I am your father”. It makes the both of them laugh every. single. time.

    :)

  20. My twin 4 year old boys saw over my shoulder while I was reading your post and they freaked out! They say they would LOVE these for their upcoming fifth birthday :)

  21. My boys would LOVE these. They are constantly reenacting and creating new Star Wars scenes everywhere we go.

  22. I was a senior in high school when they were re-releasing the original Star Wars movie in the movie theatres in ’97. I had never seen it before and that is how my friends and I spent our Senior Skip Day. Donuts for breakfast and seeing Star Wars on the big screen.

  23. I liked most of the movies (minus Jar-Jar Binks), but my husband is biggest fan. I know you asked how many Star Wars figures my son has, but I don’t have a son, I have my husband, lol! I’d love to make these for his birthday in June! Awesome cookies!

  24. we love star wars – we’re trying to get my son a bit more into it now. he’s nine and his fave character is R2D2 – he likes to beep like him and does it pretty well!!

The cookie cutters are too cute!

My mom does cookies all the time for special occasions but she doesn’t do the royal icing – she uses chocolate and they are delish!

  25. My husband couldn’t believe that I had never seen Star Wars before and told me I had to watch it with him before we got married. These cookies would be a great surprise for him now and a great treat for him and our son once our son is old enough to eat cookies and watch Star Wars with his dad.

  26. My eight and ten year-olds would ADORE these, (my husband would too.) Talk about hours and hours of family fun. :D

  27. they are soooooooo cute!!!!

  28. Williams-Sonoma is my “happy place”! Just like you I have to sometimes force myself to walk by without stopping.

I don’t think I could resisted these adorable Star Wars cookie cutters either! Who doesn’t want to make adorable Yoda faces?

  29. :D Ahhhhhhhh! These are so adorable! Call us nerds, but on weekends when we’re too lazy to interact with outside life, my boyfriend & I have Star Wars watching parties. These would be perfect to make cookies to much on.

  30. Before I met my husband, I had never seen Star Wars. So, one night we had to have a marathon and watch all three in a row :)

  31. My husband is a true die-hard Star Wars fan! He would absolutely flip for these cookies!!!! :) :) :)

  32. While my husband and I were dating he convinced me to watch the star wars movies. We were about half way though them when Queen Amadella’s ship got blown up and her body guard showed up with a patch over his eye. I asked my now husband how he got the patch over his eye and he said “someone poked him in the eye” he said jokingly. To that I replied, “Oh, did that happen in the last movie?”. I am horrible for watching a movie and forgetting what happened in it. I didn’t realize he was joking. To this day he still brings it up.

  33. My hubby and I are such SciFi nerds! We own every movie and have at least 1 figurine of each. My husband has also made his set of lightsabers… These would fit PERFECTLY in my house :)

  34. Oh My Goodness! These are too cute. My hubby is a Star Wars Fanatic!!! These would be well received in my household. :)

  35. My husband loves Star Wars and has passed the love on to my 7 yr old son! They would both get a huge kick out of these :-)

  36. these are fantastic. my son is a die hard SW fanatic. posters, action figures, books.. but then again so his dad .. from way back when.

  37. My family and I LOVE Star Wars. The husband and son just beat Lego Star Wars: The Complete Sage and watched The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi two days ago.

    Our license plates say: 4NERDS.

  38. Naturally, Yoda is my favorite character. I don’t think I have seen movies 4-6. I should probably get on that.

  39. my grandson loves Star Wars……i love Chewy and of course Hans Solo!!!! love your site!!

  40. My 4 1/2 year old son is OBSESSED with Star Wars. Anything, everything he loves it. He and his dad curl up and watch it all the time, he would DIE if I made him yoda cookies….

  41. I prefer the Indiana Jones series myself but my husband still remembers going to see the first Star Wars movie with his dad and being blown away.!

  42. We’re a star wars family & still own the original trilogy in VHS

  43. Oh the memories. My husband and I had our first date at the eopening of The Empire Strikes Back. That movie in particular will always be close to my heart. :) Yes, we are Trekies and I would love to make these cookies for hubby for father’s day. What a great tribute that would be.

  44. I loved Hans Solo…who wouldn’t?! I have friends who have never seen any of these movies. How is that humanly possible?!!!

  45. My nephews LOVE Star Wars, I would be the coolest Aunt in the world if I could make them these adorable cookies!

  46. My dad loves Star Wars! Unfortunately, I won’t see him on Father’s Day. My husband is in the Air Force, so we are stationed in MIssouri, and my parents live in Michigan. But I would definately be sending him a care package with some of these cute little cookies packed in!

  47. Huge Yoda fan… I love that little man.

  48. Both my husband and I LOVE the original Star Wars trilogy. We even have the original movie posters framed in our office. But we really can’t stand the new ones that they made – they’re just not the same!

  49. I could eat cookies and drive around with my Darth Vader-voiced GPS unit. Awesome.

  50. My four year old son is in love with Star Wars. He even has some of the cartoon editions and loves to run around with his light sabers trying to swoosh me in half! Its so funny because I used to watch these movies with my dad and little brother growing up, and its amazing to see the effect they can still have on little boys. He loves to get outside and play baseball, but he’s always up for a little light saber dual with mommy! I may have to get these for his 5th birthday party! God Bless and take care!!! :)

  51. i love the ewoks. they are sooo cute!!!

  52. The Star Wars theme song was played at my wedding!

  53. Some of my favorite college memories included the annual Star Wars Trilogy party. Of course, back then that meant the “originals” – episodes four through six. I’ll never forget the year my household hosted the party. My little 10 inch TV was the only one we had. Unfortunately, I forgot to mention that to the guy who was renting the movies. He picked up the letterbox version – the ones where the black lines go across the top and bottom. So we had a house full of about 30 college kids celebrating the end of mid-terms by attempting to view the letterbox version of the Star Wars Trilogy for about 9 hours on a 10 inch TV screen. But it was still a blast every year. I’ve always loved Star Wars – I learned to read from the Star Wars comic books back in the late 70s. These would get me to make more cookies with the kids, methinks.

  54. My husband and daughter have s Star Wars marathon every few months. They LOVE Star Wars. He is the cookie baker in the family and it would be great to surprise him with these for Father’s Day from our daughter.

  55. We have about 2 black bin bags full of star wars figurines in the cellar, my brothers and I used to play with them as well as our Alien and Power Rangers figurines, at the same time! These cookie cutters would make me the best sister in the world!

  56. Those are the best ever! My husband and I met online on a Star Wars site! I’ve been a huge fan since the originals came out in the theaters, and now even our 4 yr old daughter loves it! If I’m not the winner I”ll have to go and buy these. Our kitchen wouldn’t be complete without them!

  57. These just might be the cutest cookie cutters I have ever seen! I must win them! I always loved the Jawas. Probably because I had a stuffed animal jawa whose eyes lit up and he made a noise whenever you waved your hand in front of his face…

  58. These are great. I would love to add Princess with the braids on her ears to make the set complete. Time for a Star Wars party!

  59. These are so cool!! I’ve been woken up every morning by the sounds from the VERY loud Star Wars ship (without volume control) my 6 yo got for Christmas two years ago. He would be thrilled to pieces if I could make some Star Wars cookies for him!

  60. The thing that comes to mind most for me with Star Wars, is the fact that when the first movies came out, I remember taking my step-son to see them. Then, when my children were young, we ended up taking them to see the re-makes! Time flew on that one!

  61. My kids would go crazy over these! It would help me out with birthday parties, too…We’ve already made a storm trooper cake two years in a row.

  62. Oh my gosh, I wouldn’t have been able to walk past that either! My husband is a HUGE Star Wars fan, and his birthday is next month, I may have to find those for his celebration! Thanks for the heads up and a chance to win!

  63. My son and husband are both big Star Wars fans. My daughter and I are big fans of baking these cookie cutters are so great woudl love to win these! BTW – just came across this site…..love it love it loveit! Is now on my favorites!!!

  64. My husband would loves cookies when he and his buddies get togther. A perfect fathers day gift.

  65. I love Star Wars!!! The original is my fav and I will always want to be Princess Lea. I have never been able to get those 2 bun things to work. LOL

  66. OMG! My husband would die if I made him Star Wars cookies!!! He is a Star Wars nut! If we ever have kids we’ll have to buy 2 sets of toys, one for my hubby and one for our kids! LOL I call him Chewie because he has a full red beard and is tall and bigger built like Chewbacca!

  67. I admit it, I love Star Wars. Favorite movie… who knows. I do like the old school ones better than the new ones, but love how they contribute to the story too. Favorite character would have to be Princess Leia, even though I never did have hair long enough to make those side buns myself!

In our house we have enough Star Wars characters, ships, and Lego sets to open a small business. We have a big batch of vintage figures & ships that belonged to my husband, plus a big batch of newer ones that belong to my 2 sons. Those cookies would be PERFECT for Father’s Day!!

  68. my children are going to love these!

  69. are we the only family that refers to Princess Leia’s hairstyle as “sticky buns”?

Maybe that illustrates our love for food.

  70. My entire family loves Star Wars. My husband has many of the original collectibles and my son has lots of stuff and will play the Lego Star Wars game on the WII all day if I let him. I remember when I was growing up, my aunt and uncle got to go see Empire Strikes Back first and they called in the middle of the night when they got home and screamed in to the phone that we would never guess what happens at the end. Good times.

  71. How cute; I love them!

  72. I just finished my 6 year old son’s room with an over-the-top Star Wars theme. R2D2, C3P0, Yoda, the Death Star, murals I painted on his wall (shiny gold for C3P0!), complete with a Tie-Fighter kite hanging over his bed. He is one happy little dude. I love these cookie-cutters.

  73. When I was younger, my sister made R2D2 out of a trashcan. The ones where the lid flipped in a circle. She painted him on R2D2 and put it on a remote control car. It was pretty cool!

  74. Bahhh I’ve always been a star wars fan!! I wish I had these cookie cutters more than anything.

  75. Loving the star wars cookie cutters. They should do an ewok one for sure!

  76. At the height of the Star Wars movie, I was into wearing those large 2 color blocked sweaters. I realized I had worn this one sweater too often when I was greeted by several people at work with “May the force be with you.” Ahh.,….but my favorite is storm troopers who made wearing white look skinny.

  77. My kids loved Star Wars! Our son had a Chewbaca stuffed animal and our daughter named her birthday kitten Yoda, due to the spacing of it’s ears. I think I’ll have to get the movie and watch it again! Popcorn time!

  78. My son started collecting Star Wars back in 1979 – he has unopened packages of characters, comic books etc – valuable collection. He would die if I could win these for him!! Fingers are crossed.

  79. My favorite Star Wars figure we have found is a Stitch, from Lilo and Stitch, dressed up as Yoda. Two awesome characters in one. I think that would make a great cartoon or movie!

  80. I first watched Star Wars when I had chicken pox and somehow those are always linked in my head now … maybe if I won I would make “Dark Lord with chickenpox” cookies …..

  81. First movie I remember seeing is the Return of the Jedi. My older brothers were forced to take me with them (as in “You take your sister or you don’t get to go” – hee hee) to a free community showing of the movie. I remember thinking that all the baby Ewoks looked like kittens.

Now my husband and I enjoy watching and re-watching all the films. He would totally love cookies made with these cookie cutters!

  82. I have fond memories of the original Star Wars trilogy and sharing them with my son when he was old enough. We watched them over and over again!

  83. I was never a big Star Wars fan until I met my husband. One of our first movies was one of the Star Wars movies and I actually reall liked it! Granted he watches them ALL of the time and I can’t quite do that yet, he would be so excited by these :)

  84. I think my husband has worn out all of the Star wars DVD’s if that is possible, I would love to surprise him with these for Father’s day. I would love to bite the head off one of theses guys myself…ugh…lol

  85. I am not a Star Wars fan but my third graders would love receiving Star War Cookies as a prize! I have a class with 18 boys and 5 girls.

  86. My favorite is Hans Solo. :)

  87. My 3 year old loves Darth Vader!

  88. My son is really into star wars legos! He has several star wars lego kits and he recently got a storm trooper lego key chain. I always liked the princess because of the name :)

  89. This is unbelievable! I didn’t know that this can exist. Both me and my son, we are big fans of StarWars and Luke. The force be with you.

  90. Oh my coolness! Our son is Star Wars crazy. (and cookie crazy too). I’d love to say I don’t know where he got it, but it was me. My favorite character is Han Solo, I like the handsome rebel type. :) These would be ever so perfect for our Captain Rex’s upcoming birthday party.

  91. OH MY!! I wouldn’t have been able to stop myself either! My son was born a Jedi…LOL..he’s 7 and thinks he should’ve been! Hope I win, he’d LOVE making these cookies!

  92. My son would go crazy if I could make these cookies for him. He is infatuated with all things Star Wars and has even convinced his baby sister of its greatness. She’s only 2 1/2 but wants to be princess leia this year for halloween.

  93. Star Wars the original trilogy were some of my favorite movies growing up… I’d watch them over and over, every
    Sunday with friends.

  94. Princess Leia is my all time favorite character! When I was a little girl, my mom would send me off to school with two big cinnamon looking buns on the side of my head. I thought I was VERY cool. :) Love the cookie cutters…and how could you resist?

  95. These are awesome. Star-Wars is amazing. Discovered yesterday that the original text scrolls at the start of the first 3 movies were made simply by pulling a camera over yellow text. Nothing crazy, just simple and understated imaginitive use of tech! My G/F and our friends all study comp-sci, and trust me, there are a lot of star-wars fans in our group who would get a kick out devouring Lord Vader the next time my g/f decides to knock out a batch of uni-stress busting cookies. Which reminds me, these would be a great excuse to get her a “come to the dark side, we have cookies” T-shirt.

  96. These are adorable! Oh, how I love the original Star Wars. I’d love to make a Yoda cookie!

  97. I bought them and the pancake molds for the hubby for dads day, then I bought a set for a friend I am so excited to try them

  98. I can’t sit through the the movies but I can certainly waste a few hours with my husband playing Lego Star Wars on the PlayStation. So much fun!

  99. OH my gosh, my husband is the most fanatical fan in the world. Can I tell you? He has a tattoo of the Rebel Alliance logo on his arm. Oh yeah, he’s that geeky.

We both agree that Empire is not only the best Star Wars movie but the best movie OF ALL TIME. His favorite character is Boba Fett! And Han Solo made me a sucker for scoundrels for my entire life.

And let’s not get into how many action figures.

  100. my son and hubby are nuts over star wars. would love this for a father’s day gift! :)

  101. I don’t know much about Star Wars. I think Yoda’s pretty cute, but I also think that if I were to make these cookies I could nab a date with just about any boy I wanted. So pick me pleaseee, random number generator.

  102. OMG!!! I MUST have these! My son is such a Star Wars nut! We just had his birthday party and I couldn’t find ANYTHING Star Wars for his cupcakes…maybe I should have contacted you! (That would have demanded me not waiting until the last minute to make them though….)

He would absolutely pee his pants if I came home with a set of these!!!

  103. I *need* these! They would be perfect for imprinting sandwiches, too!

I love every little bit of Empire Strikes Back.

  104. i’ve always loved star wars, i loved watching them with my dad when i was growing up. Empire Strikes Back is my fave, and I’m a sucker for Han Solo. these cookie cutters are awesome!

  105. My hubby is a star wars freak. I bought him a limited edition beer stein. It would be so fun to surprise him with yoda cookies. I use to have the Death March as his ringtone on my phone. His fav movie is Empire Strikes Back.

  106. I am expecting my first baby any day now (hear that baby, ANY DAY NOW!) and as I just told my mom, “How am I supposed to be a good Mom if I can’t make Star Wars cookies!?!?!?” I think this would take care of that…..

  107. When I was sixteen, I was dragged to Star Wars by my older brother. I loved it so much, it was the first movie that I saw multiple times. (15) When “Empire” came out, I waited in line *overnight* with a friend to attend the very first showing. I wanted to be Princess Leia in that metal bikini. And now I’ve just finished reading her book “Wishful Drinking.” Good thing I wasn’t her!

  108. My hubby is a star wars freak. I bought him a limited edition beer stein. It would be so fun to surprise him with yoda cookies. I use to have the Death March as his ringtone on my phone. His fav movie is Empire Strikes Back.

  109. Neither me nor my husband are big star wars fans (I used to be as a teenager though) but our best friends are huge fans. they own not only several figures but also robes and lightsabres and things. As they recently lost someone close to then I would LOVE to win this and give it to them, they’d love it! :)

  110. My husband is a Star Wars geek, and it must be something that can be passed along in the genes because our 1 year old daughter’s favourite toys are Star Wars Mr Potato Heads, especially Storm Tater!

  111. Oh man, I wish I had these today – brother-in-law’s 30th birthday! But no Williams Sonoma in our area.

I’m not a huge fan (I’m SORRY!) but when they came out with the remastered versions a few of us from college went and saw all 3 of them opening day. It’s a good memory. :)

  112. My husband collected everything star wars and has realized it would be more fun to share with the kids than stored away collecting dust mites! So the boys have been playing all the original toys including men, ships and comic books. It’s put a whole new sweetness on it, seeing my boys play with it when I saw my husband do the same over 13 years ago! He actually had a SW room in college with all the ships hanging from the ceiling and a black light so you could turn off the light and believe you are in the galaxy!

  113. My son is 11 and he loves Star Wars. His birthday is Friday. This would be a great gift.

  114. Those are amazing! I loooove Harrison Ford as Han Solo. Favorite part- when they are leaving Han away from Leia to put him in the carbonite and she yells “I love you!” and right before they put him in the chamber he goes…”I know”

  115. I once tried to play Star Wars Trivial Pursuit with my husband. He let me go first; I got the question wrong. After that, I didn’t get any more turns, because he answered every question right until he won the game.

  116. I used to build Star Wars models in high school and my husband and I plan to someday splurge on a huge Star Wars Lego set. I’d love to eat some Star Wars cookies while putting the Legos together!

  117. My own little Jedi will literally hold an hour long conversation with me discussing Star Wars Episode III. As if it were real. As if I am really listening. Number of figurines? Too many to count.
Besides that, I have spent hours assembling SW legos and on the brink of tears due to frustration.
Let’s just say these cookie cutters are going to be a necessary addition to my life.

  118. This is a very cool cookie cutter set! I have a found memory of Star Wars. We went to see the first movie in a drive-in in the US (I live in french Canada). It was my first drive-in experience and it was soooo cool.

  119. My husband and son both love Star Wars! I’m not sure my piping skills would be up to the challenge, but man, those are cute!

  120. I remember waiting in line at the theater to see the original (which was my favorite) and Princess Lei was my favorite character, then R2D2. :-)

  121. WOW! I didn’t know they had these! These are perfect! I have the Hamilton Star Wars plates from when the first movie came out. I LOVE Star Wars. And…..my family name is Yoder so I have LOTS of Yoda memorabilia! I’d love the set just for Yoda!
And love the set I would!

  122. Shame on me!!! I slept the three times I went to the movie theatre to watch Star Wars. I know the characters (as a good geek’s girlfriend that I am), I know the storyboard, but I never watched the movie…

  123. Playing with my brother’s Star Wars figures in the bath as a little one. I loved Princess Leia and still hope that one day when I grow up I will be a Jedi.

  124. I pretend to not know what’s going on so my 6 year old will explain it to me. Her interpretation is almost better than the movie.

  125. May the force be with me ….. I really need these for my little Jedi. :)

  126. My fiancé has bookcases full of Star Wars books and the walls in his childhood room at his parents house were covered with Star Wars figurines in the plastic containers when I met him! He would love these!

  127. I may be one of the only humans (older than 6) that hasnt seen Star Wars. Not one single minute of any of the movies. Maybe winning these will open up my eyes to a whole new world of films…haha, fingers crossed.

  128. Entering for my SW obsessed husband. We have an enormous Millenium Falcon in our home. Seriously.

  129. I never seen star wars but I like cookies so star wars cookies are a new experince!!!

  130. i so could have used these while planning this birthday party

    http://bluedaisygraphics.blogspot.com/search/label/star%20wars

there is no try only do.

  131. Lego Star Wars jammies. I wish my son could wear them 24/7 because they are too cute. Talk about a movie that makes awesome merchandise! I’m looking for easy dessert ideas to take camping for a joint fathers day/birthday camping trip and these would be great!

  132. We are a family of Star Wars geeks! My son has his room decorated Star Wars and everyone claims I know the most trivia!

  133. Well, I named my son Lucas!

  134. We are huge Star Wars fans here – our two year old likes to quote the movies and “breath like Dark Vader” – she thinks it is Dark, not Darth and will even correct you if you say Darth, makes me smile everytime!

  135. My fiance speaks in his Yoda voice often! Its how I fell in love! :)

  136. I have always been a fan of R2-D2. If I win I’m definitely giving these to my brother, he will love them!

  137. When they remastered all of the movie my dad and uncle took my cousin and I to see them. We became obsessed and would play Star Wars for hours! My (son-less) dad was so proud of his little girl!

  138. My son has not discovered Star Wars… But my friend’s son has… When he first was into it, “star wars” sounded a little more like “star whores” in his 4 year old speak.

  139. When I was little I used to love the e-woks. I just wanted to cuddle with them like teddy bears. I later found out that most true star wars fans don’t like the e-woks…oh-well.

  140. The first movie I ever watched was Star Wars. It came to Korea when I was 5 months old, and my parents, in all their wisdom, decided to take me with them when they went to see it. Fortunately, I was so enraptured by it that I didn’t fuss once during the movie, waiting until it was over and we were in the lobby to throw a tantrum.

  141. I LOVE these!!!…..and so would my 5 year old son. I’m already thinking that these might have to make an appearance at his next birthday party. It’s so funny that you posted this today because my son has just gotten on a Star Wars kick this week and we are on the hunt for the entire movie set for him to watch. He’s never actually seen the movies, but has discussed all the characters and their bloodlines with his friends at school. Gotta love little boys!

  142. My husband would LOVE these. He is a huge Star Wars fan!

  143. They are def awesome cookie cutters! and I would leave them just plain… they’d be gone in a second anyway! LOL

  144. These are great! Would love to try them!

  145. Star Wars cookie cutters! Awesome! These would even look good without icing (but who doesn’t love extra sugar!) Darth Vader could be made with chocolate cookie dough and you could just add a bit of green food coloring to the regular dough for Boba Fett & Yoda. Well, that would be the easy way out for me!

  146. My husband and I are total Star Wars geeks! At our wedding, we had a kissing menu if people wanted us to kiss, instead of clinking their glasses. There were four choices: dance for us, recite a quote about love, show us your best and we’ll show you ours, AND try and stump us with some Star Wars trivia. Our guests were on their phones picking out obscure facts about Star Wars just to stump us and get us to kiss! It was so fun!

  147. Oooh I need these!

My favorite Star Wars character is Yoda. I used to have the action figure (the original one). I wonder whatever happenned to it?

  148. Aww! Where to start–my brother & I loved SW so much, we somehow got away with naming one of our younger sisters Leah (that was how I said Leia back then)…my son, almost 3, now sports my brother’s vintage SW shirt hand me down. Fun times!

  149. I <3 wookies. :)

  150. I love princess leia. She reminds me of my daughter I do her hair like that all the time.

  151. I’m not too big of a fan…they take me back to my childhood but that’s where it stops. My husband, on the other hand….he has Star Wars Pez dispensers, the whole line of Mr. Potato Head characters, and he can quote all of the original movies. What a nerd : ) Just kidding!

  152. As I opened the email today, my six-year-old was standing right next me for some reason and saw the Star Wars logo and immediately started screaming “We need those!” Indeed we do! He’s been obsessed with the movies for a year now. For his birthday this year I made him a Star Wars cake where the words looked like the scrolling words from the movie title and then put two “light sabers” that I made out of glow sticks on the cake. Definitely going to get the cookie cutters but hope to win them!

  153. My son and my two nephews absolutely love Star Wars and we love watching the cartoons, the movies, and playing with our figurines.

  154. I love the functionality of these. I haven’t tried impression cookies since I was a kid and it was a disaster. My poor Mom!
Thanks for the this great giveaway. But I’d hope for a Princess Leia. We need a little female representation!

  155. My hubby loves Star Wars and in turn my two girls do too. I just might have to get these for Father’s Day.

  156. Oh my goodness… I need to order these cookie cutters! My 7-year old son is *obsessed* with all things Star Wars. Lego Star Wars has over-run our house and I’ve listened to the movies FAR too many times over the last year!

  157. I agree, I wouldn’t mind nibbling on Harrison Ford either

  158. My son and nephew would flip over some star wars cookies these would also be great for parties…….The boys have everything star wars and they still run around in their halloween costumes. Thanks for sharing

  159. Oh my goodness, Williams Sonoma you crack me up! Star Wars makes me think of my goofy bro-in-law, which in turn makes me smile real big. He would laugh for 10 minutes straight over these cutters. Too fun!

    Have a great weekend Bakerella!

  160. My friend’s husband is an absolute Star Wars fanatic!! He would love these!! I never saw Star Wars the first time around. I did see it in High School when they re-released episodes 4 through 6 in the theatre before espisode 3 came out.

  161. i always wanted to be princess Leia…though what little girl didn’t?!

  162. Dressed up my baby girl as Yoda for Halloween and would do it again in a heartbeat… and who doesn’t love a lightsaber?

  163. I have a little stay-at-home-Mom sugar cookie business, and get lots of requests for these guys! They would be awesome to win!
I may have to go buy them if I don’t win them!

  164. omg – my husband would die if i made him these cookies!!

  165. I love your site! You find and make the most interesting things. I do like Star Wars (Who doesn’t love Yoda?) But my favorite human character is Hans Solo, robot favorite is R2D2. I do look forward to your emails. Thanks again for a wonderful site.

  166. I love the old school movies (I’ve never seen the new ones) but my son loves everything Star Wars and my Tivo is full of Clone Wars episodes.

  167. Holy Moly! I love Star Wars!!!! I am a High School English Teacher, and my room, for years, was known as “The Star Wars Room.” I was able to get ahold of some huge life-size Star War cut-outs, and had them all over the room. Posters, magazine clippings, and torn-apart calendars were everywhere – all Star Wars! Thanks for showing us the cookie cutters – I’m so excited!

  168. Han Solo, definitely!

  169. Saw these in the WS catalog and was so tempted… so cute and so many folks love Star Wars… How cool…. Love your blog and you!!! Thanks for an awesome giveaway.

  170. I haven’t watch any of Star Wars movies until 2 years ago. I’m so ashame. I loved R2D2 :)

  171. our lives are ruled by Star Wars….and doesn’t help when you have a child with Asperger tendencies who fixates on things…yep, all Star Wars, all the time….would love these!

  172. I LOVE Boba Fett. Love, love, love him!!!!!

  173. OMG!!! My husband is a big Star Wars Fan! I even surprised him with the Star wars Theme as our Resentional at our Wedding…. better than a SW theme eh! lol
Please add me to your list!!!

  174. Wow! Just what I was looking for. My son is obessed with Star Wars and his 5th birthday is coming up soon. We will be having a Star Wars party for him. He has all the Star Wars characters, movies, light sabor, Obi One Kenobi Halloween costume, etc.

Hope to win. It would make my little Star Wars fan beyond happy. :)
    Sue

  175. I remember taking my little brother to the very first movie. He sat on the edge of his seat and never moved!

  176. I went and saw Star Wars when I was six years old…that is pretty much my only memory of it…however…I love these cookie cutters and my future husband who I am marrying in 8 days…would love these too! He is the biggest Star Wars fan and would love to bake these cookies for him!!

  177. The force is strong in that set…however, I’ve got a bad feeling about this….

“A New Hope”…something very innocent and yet, well…hopeful…about it. Maybe it was the age I was when I first saw it –in the theater when it first came out–but its still up there as one of my All Time Favorites.

  178. I have watched the original movie more than 100 times. That’s when I quit counting. I completly wore out the first 3 videos and my husband has bought me 3 sets of original trilogy on DVD.

  179. One of my very best friends has a complete room full of Star Wars Figures, I would really love to sourprise him with these cookies :=)
And “May the force be with me” ;)

  180. I watch Star Wars over and over with my husband, and promptly forget what each movie was about approx. one week after watching it.

  181. These are the COOLEST! I’ve loved Star Wars since I was a kid (eons ago, it seems). The attorney I used to work for dated Harrison Ford in college. And I got to meet Harrison a few years ago at the EAA Airventure Show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He was the president of the Young Eagles program until last year. He’s made of awesome. And it just makes my Star Wars obsession a bit stronger.

  182. These are so cute, I love them and love Bakerella for
    spoiling us! ;)

  183. I’m a big fan of the Ewoks, which my die hard Star Wars fan of a husband despises.

  184. Both my husband AND my son are obsessed with all things Star Wars.

  185. I wasn’t born/was too young when the original movies were in theatres, but I fondly remember when the originals were rereleased and then the prequels came out – it spanned my entire high school career! Love these cookies and the memories that would go with them.

  186. My husband gets so mad at me because I have never actually seen Star Wars, any of them… He keeps telling me that we need to have a marathon day so I can see them all, but it’s been 7 years now and I am still missing out! Maybe I could make the cookies to watch during the marathon! He would love it!

  187. I think Ewoks are adorable. Too bad they don’t have their own cookie cutter!

  188. Bakerella… My husband has an entire room devoted to Star Wars.. It is now begining to take over the rest of the house also. We have a life size Yoda in our entry and a 6 foot long Millinum Falcon hanging from the celing. This could be a little bit of Star Wars for me! :)

  189. I come from a family of Star War Collectors, They are all obsessed. One of the guys even used the Imperial March as they’re intro song at their wedding!

  190. i love r2d2!!!! may the force be with me!!!! :)

  191. All our dogs past and present, had Star Wars and Biblical names…Obie(Obadiah), Luke, Leah and we have a friend with a Pug named Yoda (no Biblical connection there)

  192. I haven’t seen star wars but have had SW cookies requested several times. I’ve had to hand cut them and than is not fun!

  193. I had an ewok tree house complete with cute little ewok figurines growing up! Sadly I thought that ewok’s were their own brand, like my little ponies or barbies, it wasn’t until long after I outgrew the beloved toy that I learned they were from Star Wars!

  194. My son had probably every Star Wars figure, playset, legos that was made. His favorite was the storm trooper. I just bought the Star Wars pancake molds from William and Sonoma for my grandson who is obscessed and when they arrived my daughter had no pancake mix.

  195. Oh my, this would make for an awesome birthday present for my older brother. He loves Star Wars and baking! Hope I win it for him!

  196. my boss is a huge fan! we always buy her little figures and trinkets to decorate her desk… These would be so fun to make for her :)

  197. My son would love for me to make these for him, I believe he has every star wars figure know to man, at least that is what if feels like.

  198. my husband would be giddy to have Star Wars cookies!! this is such a great set!!!

  199. Oh my. I had already put these on my Amazon Wish List. I have so many men in my life would love to take a bite out of Darth Vader… much use these would get.

  200. “so cool they are” says the boyfriend… haha. if i won these i would bake up a whole lot and have a star wars marathon! i would be making a lot of cookies to get us through all the movies, but i don’t think anyone would mind…
