They Got Me

The other day I was doing a little impromptu shopping. I had already spent more than I wanted and I was about to pass the Williams-Sonoma store. I said to myself. “Walk faster. Faster. Don’t look in. You don’t need anything else. Whatever you do…

…don’t stop…

Don’t look in the …”

photo

Dang. They got me.

I really tried not to go in, but how could I be complete without these Star Wars Cookie Cutters. I knew if I left empty handed, I’d wish I had bought them in the off chance someone I know wants Boba Fett cookies one day. So I went in, telling myself the whole time I would just have a peek. I can resist.

IMG_0100

I can resist so well that I only bought two. One for me and one for you. Okay, one for one of you.

IMG_0033

Now, I like to bake to go along with a giveaway if I can, but I knew I wouldn’t have enough time to make and pipe these this weekend and I just couldn’t wait to show you these cutters. Plus, my piping skills might deter you from wanting to try them. Piping royal icing is a skill I need to work on, but the way to go if you’re up for it. They’d still be super cute just like this photo from the back of the box, though.

IMG_0079

The cutters have plungers that make impressions in the sugar cookie dough as you cut shapes.

IMG_0066

You can whip up some Storm Troopers…

IMG_0072

A Dark Lord perhaps.

IMG_0075

Maybe some Boba Fett’s just so you can say the name over and over.

IMG_0073

And you have to make Yoda, of course. Make him you should. And eat him you shall.

But… but wait… where’s Chewbacca and R2-D2? What’s up with that? I want to nibble on a little Wookiee. And maybe a little Harrison Ford.

They need a second edition. Fingers crossed.

IMG_0052

The set comes packaged in a cute box with a recipe for cookies and icing.

Besides the kiddies going gaga for these, I think it would make a great gift for Daddy’s Day. Well, it might make some Daddy’s Day, not all.

Find them at Williams-Sonoma or…

  1. My 6 year old is a huge Star Wars fan. My mom got him a Han Solo that says, “Laugh it up fuzzball” for Christmas. It was his favorite gift. I would love these cookie cutters!

  2. We love Star Wars! Going to the convention in August and surprising our 6 year old with Disney tkts when we get there. Would love to make some cookies!

  3. Both my husband and my son LOVE the Star Wars series. When my son was a toddler he used to run around the house humming the theme songs to himself while he pretended to be Luke Skywalker or Anakin. I MUST have these!

  4. I had an ewok (sp?) fort when I was little, that was a great toy!

  5. My boys (7 and 3) play Star Wars constantly with their light sabres–constantly!! And my three year old is insistent that he wear his older brother’s storm trooper costume EVERY DAY…it is the first thing he puts on when he gets out of bed!

  6. I’ve always loved the Ewoks!

  7. These are fantastic!! I’ve always been a fan of the Ewoks personally. Did you see Cougar Town this week when Bobby said he wanted to make love to an Ewok?? LOL

  8. I love Star Wars, but my brother is a Star Wars fanatic. I get him some Star Wars themed gift every year for Christmas.

  9. I admit I’m a bit of a Star Wars Geek – not the geekiest, but I get excited about each game that comes out!

There’s a new computer game, an MMO (multiplayer online game, that is) coming out called Star Wars: The Old Republic. This cookie cutter set would be PERFECT for making cookies for a launch party!

  10. Husband, Roger, is a big Star Wars fan – we have the original movies and sometimes have a marathon movie watching day. My favorite is Yoda – he is so wise. Roger is also a Cookie Monster so I would love to bake and surprise him with these cookies.

  11. Star Wars was released the year I was born! :) Such cute cookie cutters!!!!!

  12. My son has been Boba Fett for Halloween for the last 3 years! They even have pancake molds! I am so going this weekend!

  13. I love the original movies…Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. We have all 6 DVDs and can’t wait to show them to the kids when they are older. Plus, seeing Harrison Ford is always a bonus!!!

  15. the force of those cookie cutters would have got me too!!
    thanks for the opportunity !

  16. So, once again I am captivated by what you do! :o) As far as Star Wars…My husband is a HUGE fan. He knows the whole sage front to back. My 7 yr old daughter, who is so into daddy, has been a fan since she could talk. Its funny to watch your children grow up and adopt the same likes we have in order to connect on that different level. They (children) really are amazing!!! The cookie cutters are pretty cute too. I can’t wait to see what you come up with;)

  17. My 5-yr-old son is ALL about Star Wars. His favorite character is Luke Skywalker. A Wookie cookie sounds so cute, but I do love saying Boba Fett. What an awesome name. I hope I win these for my son.

  18. My first StarWars memory is of me being at the movie theater with my family and I was very young, maybe 4. Going to the movies was a rare treat for us back then. I was holding onto the popcorn. I kept eyeing the seat in front of me during the movie because I was just sure that Yoda was hiding underneath it, ready to get me. Suddenly he came on screen and I jumped, popcorn flew everywhere!

  19. Of any giveaway that you’ve ever done, I hope I can win this one. I adore Star Wars, and so does my husband.

  20. I’ve never seen it, this makes my husband sad in ways you cannot imagine. He however loves it and sent me the Williams-Sonoma page a few days ago. I’m sure he would love them. :)

  21. I didn’t even see Star Wars until I was in college, but my husband loves the movies and gets really annoyed when I accidentally call it Star Trek.

  22. My favorite memory of Star Wars is that it was the first movie that we went to a theater see with my two sons. They were finally old enough to go to one and they just happened to be playing it at the local theater.

  23. We are taking the kids to Disney World this summer and will be there for the Star Wars event ON my husband’s birthday! He is SO excited and so are all the kids. My husband is going to be 42 and has passed on to the kids (whom all 3 have played with) his childhood Darth Vader bust that holds about 30 of his Star Wars figures. He also still has his 15″ Luke Skywalker and Darth Vather dolls. Now THAT’s Star Wars love! I’d love to make him these cookies!

  24. Oh how cool! My hubby would love these and our little ones would love making these! Our fave characters are Yoda and Jar Jar Binx! Me so want these! :-)

  25. when I was a baby my nickname was Yoda. the empire strikes back was the first movie i saw in a movie theatre. i was 4 days old.

  26. no no, not sun… 27yr-old sister has a pez collection and a yoda furby. :)

    these things are just cute!

  27. I’m having the hardest time choosing between the cookie cutters and the pancake molds. :)

  28. WOW!!! So cute!!! This cookie set would make BOTH my main squeeze and my little guy (aka the cutest 6 year old on the planet) droolin’ for Darth!!! Cookies+Star Wars=Pure Bliss!

  29. I would love to get these for my brother, who, for his 40th birthday had an R2D2 cake. ‘Cuz that’s how he rolls. These are so stinkin’ awesome! Thanks for the giveaway.

  30. The Empire Strikes Back is my favorite of the three movies. I need a scruffy looking nerf herder cookie cutter.

  31. My husband converted me to a SW fan and our son who just turned 4 is already obsessed. He really loves the Clone Wars animated series that is running on Cartoon Network. I actually just made a massive Clone Wars bday cake for him. We would all LOVE these cookie cutters :)

  32. OMG…HAVE to have these!!! On the 3rd generation of Star Wars fans here…if I don’t win, I WILL be @ William Sonoma this weekend! :D

  33. I have always liked the Star Wars movies, but my brother in law is the biggest fan I ever met. He had figurines, drinking glasses, etc.

  34. I love Darth Vader… I tend to like the bad guys best :)

  35. I looooove Star Wars and my boyfriend would love if I made these cookies for him. If I don’t win, I might have to go to the store to get them. My favorite character is either Princess Leia cause she has awesome hair…but I also love Darth Vader cause his voice is really cool! :)

  36. I love the original Star Wars movies (especially Boba Fett) and certain parts of the prequels (which were visually quite cool buuuttt….). My middle son loves all things Star Wars and wants a lightsaber for his birthday. Not sure how I’m going to pull that off. Perhaps he’d be happy with cookies :D

  37. I live an hour and a half away from my boyfriend, so whenever he visits me at college, it is a special event. This last visit was especially exciting, because we did nothing but watch the whole star wars trilogy. It was so much fun. Star Wars is probably my favorite, of course The Empire Strikes back is the best one. I have been planning on trying to make star wars themed cupcakes for my boyfriend forever, but I never could figure out the best way to go about it. I think these cookie cutters are WONDERFUL and if I don’t win them here I’m going to buy them myself! HAHA

    Wish me luck! Happy Baking.

  38. My husband actually got me into Star Wars, I’d never really watched it! I retaliated by buying him “Darth Tater” (Darth Vader Mr. Potato Head doll) for his desk at work ;0)

  39. OMG! How adorable these little faces are!

  40. Wow! My husband is obsessed with Star Wars! I need these!!! Although we would probably need two sets. One to bake cookies with and one more to remain untouched in mint condition in the box for many many years to come. :)

  41. I love Star Wars and those are so cute!!!! When I was little I had all the figures and playsets. Then my sisters came along and they got the Death Star – so not fair! lol

Now we have friends who even named their daughter Leah.

    Who doesn’t love Star Wars!

  42. My husband and I bonded over our love of the original Star Wars movies, how unwatchable the prequels were, and our adoration for John Williams and his brilliant music. In fact, we adore it so much that we used _Star Wars (Main Theme)_ in our wedding :)

  43. My hubby and I are HUGE Star Wars fans! For my daughters first halloween trick or treating I made her an Ewok. I clipped a little bow on the hood so she was a girl Ewok. She was the cutest little thing you’d ever see!!!

  44. We used an AT-AT as our Christmas tree this year!

  45. My friend just had a baby on Star Wars Day – May the 4th (be with you). Wouldn’t these be a great way to welcome the little one??

  46. WOW. These things are so darn cute! I’ve seen all the movies, but I wouldn’t quite call myself a Star Wars fan. Now, my brother and sister on the other hand… they’re nuts for it!! = ) I like Princess Leia best. = )

  47. Ha! After Attack of the Clone came out, I did my own novelization of the love story. How about that? :-)

I need to put up my photos and send you the link some day, but I did your cake pops and they were so good!

  48. First movie I ever watched in a theater. I have such fond memories of this movie! Can’t wait to buy some of these as gifts!!

  49. I still remember watching Return of th Jedi in the theater!

  50. My brother is a die hard fan of star wars. I remember he had every action hero set that was star wars he actually had 2 sets one to keep and one to play with. He still has all of them. He camped out for each of the new star wars when they were released. His 40th birthday is coming up with a star wars theme and these cutters would be perfect.

  51. My husband and I are HUGE Star Wars fans! We named our dog Obi and fully intend on naming our first son Luke. No joke! :) My husband’s birthday is next month and I know he would love these cookie cutters (ok, he’d like me to make the cookies with the cookie cutters). Now, off to find the nearest Williams-Sonama…

  52. My future brother in law is the biggest Star Wars fan I know…he could definitely add these to his toy-store size collection!

  53. I have to admit, I adore the Ewoks!!!

  54. My husband is a big fan, and now he has gotten my 4 year old daughter into it. As Halloween she dressed up as Snow White with Princess Leia hair (I’m sure it was an internal struggle between princesses of Disney and princesses of a world far far away.) Her latest joy is Star Wars Hopscotch that she and my husband draw on our sidewalk. The cookie cutters would be well received at our house!

  55. I have a friend that has a whole room full of Star Wars stuff! His spare bedroom is literally filled with it. I’d love to be able to make these for him!

  56. I love everything about Star Wars. The movies, the books, the comics, the games… You name it, I love it. If I had to pick a favorite thing, it would probably be the original Star Wars movie, or the final book of the New Jedi Order series, The Unifying Force. Love the blog, keep up the good work.

  57. Lei–with the cinnamon bun hair. Never could get over that hair. I wonder what a cookie cutter of her would look like.

  58. my husband LOVES star wars! we have baby onesies, light up spoons, monopoly, tshirts, etc with the star wars theme. i’m pretty sure that star wars cookies would turn into an awesome birthday treat tradition for him!

  59. I always keep the motto, “let the Wookie win” ;)

  60. I LOVE the Ewoks. I wanted to name my first boy Wicket but my husband says no.

  61. I personally hate Star Wars, but my boyfriend loves it and we even have an inside joke including Star Wars (something about being naked while watching it – don’t ask). I think it’d be a fun surprise to make these for him.

  62. OMG – my son and I LOVE Star Wars – he’s only 10 and has more Star Wars knowledge than I do and I thought I was a FAN!!

He would LOVE Mommy to make these for him….please pick me…

  63. Star Wars takes me back to childhood and chewbacca was always my favorite. They really do need a second edition ;)

  64. I’ve watched the original 3 Star Wars movies many many times with my parents as a child. My favorite characters have always been the Ewoks – they looked so cute and cuddly!! :)

  65. My favorite character is Yoda, although I am not a huge star wars fan my 11 yr old son is. He has liked Star Wars since he was able to understand movies. He has all the movies and all of the video games. When he was around the age of 7 he would quiz me about the movies to see how much I know! I guess he just needed to make sure I was paying attention to all the hundreds of times we would watch the movies. I think he knows everything there is to know about Star Wars! He also has alot of the Star Wars Lego ships, and light sabers etc. This July we are taking him to Star In Concert. Star Wars sugar cookies would be so neat to pack along for my sons and nephews to enjoy for the concert!! Thank you

  66. I have two boys. They both love Star Wars. We have light sabers, figurines, space ships and even a Darth Vador Mr Potato Head. They would be too excited if I got the cookie cutters too!! :)

  67. my son loves star wars….his favorite things are the lego figures and his double-light sabre he built at disneyworld. you have the best giveaways!

  68. My sister and I ALWAYS used to watch Star Wars when we got home from the HS football games on Friday nights. I’m sure we watched The Empire Strikes Back (our favorite one!) at least twice a month.

I hope I win so we can have a sister-reunion and eat some SW cookies!

  69. OMG I need these! My boys just love anything Star Wars. We just finished watching the season finale of the Clone Wars, which I have to admit I love too! My youngest’s birthday is coming up and I would love to make these cookies for his Star Wars themed birthday! Thanks for the chance! Cool!

  70. We are a SW geeky family. My husband was a geek before but now our 3 year old son is seriously obsessed with all things SW. Toys, big boy underwear (that my husband is jealous of :) , and cartoons/movies.

  71. So my favorite memory about star wars was when I first watched them. Episode 1 just came out on DVD and a friend had to MAKE me watch them… By the end of 4 5 & 6, I was hooked! I can tell you anything about it, I still watch all 6 of them once a year… Plus I love Ewen McGregor and Harrison Ford <3

  72. The original movie is a favorite around here. At one point my husband could recite the dialog from the entire movie. Cutout sugar cookies are his favorite – he would flip for these.

  73. I actually do not like star wars but my husband loves it! Since he thinks his training to be a jedi I know he would love these cookies.

  74. I LOVE STAR WARS! They should definitely make an Ewok cookie cutter (those are my favorites! How could you not love them?).

Funny story: My husband calls me random cutsy names and one day he busted out Wookie because he thought it sounded cute but didn’t realize he was calling me a hairy beast that make that weird growl-gargling sound. Love it!

  75. I remember a neighbor that was super into starwars when episode 1 came out back in the 90’s and he loved the “pod racer” – I had bought a torpedo tube to pull behind my parents boat and he always wanted to sit on it and it was his “pod racer” he LOVED that thing!! I don’t have any little boys (yet) but I’m sure when/if we do they will love starwars!! Thanks for all your super cute ideas – I just tried making your cupcake bites – and they turned out amazing!! They are SO good!!

  76. I would LOVE to have these. My brother is the all time biggest Star Wars fan (and I love it too)! I want to suprise him with a batch of star wars cookies! He has all the original toys, I think he should get to enjoy star wars as a sugary confection. :)

  77. Love these! And I love that they have Boba Fett. He’s probably my favorite character, but my favorite to watch is Harrison Ford, I mean Han Solo. :-) Love that they have Star Wars pancake molds too. So cool!

  78. They got me, too. So cool

  79. My 4 year old son is a huge Star Wars fan. Crazy about Yoda he is ;)

  80. My 4-year old son and my husband are hooked on LEGO Star Wars for the Wii! That’s like the big “treat” he looks forward to whenever dad’s home :)

  81. Oh my goodness, those cookie cutters are great! My husband is a major SW fan. He is trying to get our 3 year old into it as well by having SW toys out for him to play with.

Would love to add these cookie cutters to my collection. If I don’t win though I will have to go to Williams Sonoma and find them. I’m thinking these would be good Father’s Day cookies. :)

  82. These are incredibly adorable! I love the entire Star Wars series. My favorite movie would have to be Empire Strikes Back!

  83. Oh how cute!!! My husband and son would both love these. They are both Star Wars junkies!!!

  84. Star Wars is a BIG DEAL at my house. My sister is the biggest fan I have ever met. Seriously. She was in our local newspaper when “The Phantom Menace” came out. They photographed her buried under a pile of action figures and stuffed ewoks and lightsabers. She was an avid reader of all the Star Wars novels, and used to email the authors of the novels when they got details wrong. So, obviously, Star Wars cookie cutters would be much appreciated at my house!

  85. I didn’t see any of the Star Wars movies until I was in my late twenties; when my domestic partner found out I hadn’t watched them and forced me to do it in one marathon sitting.

I sure wish I had had some cookies to nibble on at that time because that was one long Sunday.

  86. My husband loves Star Wars and has never forgiven me for falling asleep watching it…10 years ago. These cookies might redeem me!

  87. I saw these and wished I had bought them! I love how Star Wars has crossed so many generations!

  88. OMG this are so cute. Yoda I Love!! These would make the perfect party treats for my friends sons Star War themed birthday party!

  89. OMG~
Those are too cute, I must have them!
Oh goodness, I get in trouble if I go into Williams Sanoma!

  90. I am not a Star Wars fan, but my husband is. He would love these! Actually, he already saw them in the Williams Sonoma catalogue…

  91. OMG! I so need these. My nerd of a husband would love them :)

  92. I would so be the hero with my husband if I won these and had them ready for an after work snack.

  93. We used to watch all the Star Wars movies all the time when I was growing up. My brother and my dad are a little obsessed with them, but we all love them!

  94. I love the second movie (story wise, not chronologically) The music is amazing to me and I love the love story. I saw these in Williams Sonoma yesterday and I really wanted to buy them but my husband held me back, so I hope I can win!

  95. I don’t really know much about Star Wars except for watching them once, but as I was scrolling through your blog my co-worker saw them and said ‘wow, Star Wars… cookie cutters?’ so I figured I’d put in something to try to win.

  96. These are awesome! Lucky for me my son loves plain sugar cookies, so I wouldn’t even have to ruin them with my poor royal icing skills.
My son is a HUGE Star Wars fan, I think he has every single action figure, and even some of his Dad’s old ones!

  97. My son is a Star Wars maniac….and these cookie cutters are awesome!!!!! I may just have to order online if I don’t win…which I don’t normally ever..so I should probably just order them, lol. He has all the original “square” movies…(VHS)…most of the lego sets, and I couldn’t even begin to count how many figurines. He also has a Star Wars Encyclopedia, lol….he’s only 6!!

  98. I just made these last week!! And even for someone who’s had some experience with the royal icing, they’re not easy! I may wait until my second go-round before I post pictures.

My favorite Star Wars characters are the Ewoks! They’re just so dern cute!

  99. When the last star wars came out a few years ago in theaters, I went along with my friend Megan who LOVES star wars. We went to the midnight showing and were third in line. Third to her family who dressed up like the characters! The second I saw these I thought of her. She’d die to have these. So of course, if I win, they’re all hers. I’m thinking this would be a perfect birthday present. Or even a “just because” present.

  100. I LOVE Ewoks. I always thought they would make a great pet. Like a living teddy bear!

  101. These are super cute!! I love Star Wars… I would watch them over and over on HBO when I was a kid. =)

  102. This is so absolutely perfect for a guy I know from work.
He is a total Starwars Geek.

  103. lol Stars Wars was the bane of my existence as a child. I was dragged to the movie theater to see that and traumatized. Ugh… However, as a much older adult, when I went to see the one with the Sith (recent trilogy) ooh boy did I like that. Music was better, fighting was phenomenal! Woo hooo, long live the dark side. :)

  104. SO AMAZING!!!
Years ago I found “light sabre” pens that I used during University. After graduating, I brought the pens to the engineering firm that I work for. They were a big hit with my co-workers. Can only imagine how excited they would be if I brought these cookies into the office! (They are my baking guinea pigs).

  105. Super cute! I totally agree that a second set is in order, no R2D2?!

  106. Watching the movies with my family when I was younger, and going to see the newer trilogy with my family and my one cousin’s family. Those were crazy fun times. :)

  107. I have a little boy and girl that would totally get a kick out of these!

  108. A friend that I grew up with actually had a star wars themed wedding where the guests were invited to come to the reception in costume. I’m not joking.

  109. Hi, I have a son that´s 6 years old and he really loves star wars, so for two years I´ve tried to make a star wars cake for his birthday, this year I made a blue cake with darth vader and one black cake with two light sables. I wasn´t satisfied with the result, so now I hope for these cookie cutters. I havn´t seen anything like it here in Sweden.

  110. These are so cute! I am not a Star Wars fan at all, but my fiance is and I think these would be so fun to make him cookies for his upcoming birthday! He would love it.

  111. As a kid my fav was R2D2!!

Great cutters! Thanks for the chance!

  112. Awesome!!! My husband has all of the original figurines from the originals. My favorite character was always Leah.

  113. My brother and I watched the original 3 Star Wars together every Christmas when we were kids. It was our tradition together.

  114. star wars will always have a special place in my heart. When the movie first came out, my parents were separated and I rarely saw my dad. One special evening, my dad appeared, and took me to a movie. It was star wars! I felt so special, there with my dad, all by myself! Anything star wars brings back that feeling!

  115. disney world has been having star wars weekends all spring. my husband is surprising our son by flying them both down the day after school to catch the very last weekend. now thats a love for star wars!

  116. OOOH I would *love* to win these for my friend who is a complete Star Wars nut, I think she would die of happiness! Or at least have a moment or two where her heart stops beating. And today is The Empire Strikes Back’s 30th birthday- how appropriate!

  117. OMG! Must have these! I am one of the biggest SW geeks ever, plus I have three sons that are obsessed as well. Best line is from episode 5 (Empire Strikes Back)…

Han Solo: I thought they smelled bad….on the OUTSIDE!

  118. Love those!! I loved the original movies as a kid had have had (MANY) (TOO MANY) opportunities to enjoy them again with my 4 boys.

As a kid my favorite character was Luke Skywalker. As an adult–give me Harrison Ford!

  119. My family are big Star Wars fans! I love theses cookie cutters. How much fun could we have with these.

  120. Star Wars has quickly become one of my boys favorite movies. It is fun to be able to watch a movie with them that I watched as a kid.

  121. I neeeeed these. With help of these cookie shapes, I can finally find and capture a Star Wars Geek of my own.

  122. my 11 year old son is so addicted to star wars he is a walking star wars encyclopedia…. he collects everything and anything that has to do with star wars.

he asked me to make him a star wars costume for Halloween last year and he was SO PICKY about all the details it had to be authentic as possible! I think I would enjoy making star wars cookies more, not so much stress!!! and he would go crazy over star wars cookies…. and well what boy wouldn’t?

I’m normally not a fan of the plastic cookie mold, but the plunger has me intrigued! I’m so glad you tried them out for us, the dough looks good did the baked product come out as clear? I’d love to see your final results too!

  123. my husband (and ALL the male members of my family, and some females, too) would LOVE these!! R2D2’s my fave for life. with these, i’ll easily be the favorite of the entire family!

  128. My son (age 5) has decided that June 12 is “Star Wars Day” at our house. How fun it would be to have these cute cutters for the event!

  129. Ah, you got me! I was just going to check my email and not read anything when I saw your post and the pic of Star Wars. I must have these. There is no choice. Thanks for posting!

  130. OMG! I have to win these, or I have to keep this post a secret from my 5 and 7 year old boys who are Star Wars OBSESSED! Although they’ve never seen the movies, they seem to know all about it!

  131. My church is full of young boys that I babysit on occassion and they are ALL obsessed with star wars. EVERYTHING turns into a light saber! I would love to make these for them!

  132. R2D2 is definately my favourite! I’d love to make Darth Vader cookies for my brother, who is a HUGE fan.

  134. Empire Strikes Back is my favorite, hands down! The prequel three don’t even make the cut.

  135. I didn’t discover star wars until I was 18!! I always thought I didn’t like sci-fi but I loved star wars!

  136. My Husband is a HUGE fan of star wars! We have watched every single movie and even the cartoons. Wee even go to the conventions!!

  137. Sweet mother of Luke Skywalker! My three boys think they have just gone to heaven. The oldest wants to be a clone trooper when he grows up. My middle guy eats and breathes Boba Fett. The youngest is all about Chewy. Me? I dig Padme.

  138. Yoda is definitely my favorite. How can you not love the little green guy who doesn’t hold with traditional grammar?
    Those cookie cutters are awesome!

  139. Yoda is so cute!!

  140. We have seen all the movies numerous times. My kids just had a big argument in the car the other morning regarding Annikin and Darth (?). Oh to have such worries…..

  141. My 6 year old is OBSESSED with Star Wars, he will absolutely die when he sees these….I’d definitely be mom of the year!

  142. I was not going to open your e-mail. I did not have time this morning. It is awards ceremony at school & 3 kiddos to get ready. I opened the e-mail. Star Wars are you serious? I have 3 boys. I think they have enough dress up stuff to outfit a squad, but we do not have cookie cutters. They all like the Clones, but Yoda. . .how can you not like Yoda.
Thanks for sharing. Even if we don’t win, I know what my next purchase will be.

  143. Oh my gosh! My husband and Brother in Law would just love these! They’re too cute. I must have a Star Wars viewing party now!!!

  144. I love these! I had to make my own Yoda and Storm Trooper cookie cutters 2 years ago when I made cookies for my nephew’s birthday. So adorable are these.

  145. I think Episode V is my favorite… but my favorite characters are the Jawas…

  146. What kind of mother would I be if I didn’t try to win these…my husband AND two sons would be devastated. :) Seriously, these would get some serious use at my house and if I don’t win, I will have to go buy them myself! You enabler! :) :)

  147. Oh how I miss my younger days when my best friend and I would play Star Wars. I was so jealous when her aunt made her an Ewok costume for Halloween. I always thought those Ewoks were so snuggly looking!

  148. My favorite part of all six Star Wars movies is when Luke lands in the swamp and Yoda beats R2 with his walking stick. *love*

  149. Oh My!!! You wouldn’t believe me if I told you but my husband has a life size Yoda statue cast from the actual mould used from the movie. He got this from America when he was over there on holiday as a kid. It is kinda cute but very freaky, it looks like he is watching over you all the time!!!

Love the cookie cutters! What a fab idea for a birthday party!

  150. My son, Ben, is the world’s biggest Start Wars fan….here is his room for proof…

  151. i’ve never really been into Star Wars, but literally every single man I know is obsessed. I think I know a few people who would die if I made them Star Wars cookies (although I couldn’t tell you if they would eat them or just play with them).

  152. My husband is the big star wars fan in the family. He has a huge plastic container full of Lego star wars ships. We use to own all the moves on VHS then when they came out on dvd we got the whole set. Then we had to get the whole set on dvd wide-screen. Now that blue-ray is the big thing we will probably have to get those next. My kids are getting in on the addiction too. We even named our yorkie Wicket after the Ewok in the movie.

  153. My husband is a HUGE fan!! He would be totally shocked if I could “make” Star Wars cookies!! ;o)

  154. I can honestly say I was never a fan of the Series, that is until my son came along. He’s addicted to Clone Wars and all things Jedi. Would love to surprise him with these. It would make his day! (and mine for being a part of it.) thanks for sharing.

  155. i think my brother has about 70+ starwars mini figs. not to count the non star-wars guys!

  156. My husband and his family loves Star Wars. He has a lot of siblings and his youngest brother is 3 and is obsessed! He plays Luke Sky Walker all day!

  157. OMG! My nephews are total Star Ward freaks! Every year for their birthdays (8 and 10 year old) they always ask to have a Star Wars Party. I’m sure I would make their favorite Aunt list.
    They are just AWSOME!

  158. oh my! those are adorable!! queen padme (played by Natalie portman) is my favorite and I like the 3rd new episode best of all.

  159. They would be great for a boys birthday!

  160. A few years ago I ate a LOT of kiddie meals trying to get the tiny Chewbacca that was being offered as a part of a set of Star Wars toys. Until I realized that you can ASK for a certain toy in your kiddie meal… but by then it was too late. I was addicted to tiny Cokes and tiny servings of French fries.

  161. Those are so much FUN! I love episodes 4-6. I could watch them over and over and over, and probably have.

  162. Star Wars is a CLASSIC of my childhood! I never got tired to see the movies….

I need to see again “A new hope”, juste because of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-961VcDOW4

  163. What girl didn’t want to be princess Leia when they were little??

  164. Hi

I really like baking. It would be great to win these cool cutters. My two son would be happy to have star wars theme when they have birthday.

  165. Funny thing. This morning I woke up and found that my hair would not work with me. I commented in the mirror (as I usually do in the morning) “I look just like Princess Leia”. Had these curls that looked like bobs against my ears. And then I saw your blog. It’s going to be one of those days! P.S. I grew up with Star Wars. Princess Leia and I were separated at birth!

  166. My husband would go nuts over these! I don’t even know how many collectibles he has (it’s too many if you ask me) but one notable one is his Darth Vadar Mr. Potato head (still in package of course) I’d love to win these so I could make him something he’d actually do more with than just look at it!

  167. I was never into star wars until i met my husband who likes the movies..I actually made him a R2D2 cake for his birthday this year. I enjoy all the movies but I really like the original 3 star wars films the best.

  168. Han Solo is my fave, for sure. Harrison Ford is so dreamy!

  169. I’m finally watching Star Wars this weekend!

  170. I so want to win these. My son has life-threatening food allergies including egg and dairy, so parties are always a challenge. I do have a sugar cookie recipe that he loves, and I can’t imagine how excited he would be to have Star Wars cookies! These are precious!

    bookingmama(at)gmail(dot)com

  171. Absolutely need a Harrison Ford cutter!! These are awesome, my son, and my husband, would love them!!

  172. my husband and i are Star Wars nerds… we have costumes… toys… christmas decorations… and we are planning our kids’ birthday Star Wars theme.. so this is perfect!!!! great find.

  173. my favorite thing about star wars is the main song, classic!

  174. I have 5 nephews that LOVE Star Wars. I would be the coolest Aunt ever If I made these for them!

  175. I love everything Star Wars. I was so sad when the last episode was made because that meant it was over. It is like a science fiction soap opera and soap operas are not supposed to end! My son is a bit old for it now but my nephews all dressed up as characters this past halloween and would go nuts over these.

  176. My son is a total Star Wars fanatic! He is almost 7 – these would be GREAT for his birthday party! AND – his fave character is Boba Fett! My dad made a handmade Boba helmet/mask for him last Halloween. The child lives for Star Wars!

  177. I love, love, love Star Wars! If I don’t win this giveaway, I’m going to go find those cookie cutters myself! When I was little, I had nightmares about Darth Vader living under my bed at night and just breathing his horrible breath. Ugh. But I LOVED Leia and Han Solo and the Ewoks and Chuy and Obi Wan…

  178. The Star Wars movies were my earliest movie memory. In the summer time my sister and I watch them sometimes daily. The original trilogy will always have a VERY special place in my heart. :)

  179. My boys are OBSESSED with everything Star Wars. All my six year old talks about is….Star Wars. He was talking about someone….I thought it was someone at school….Nope. Star Wars. They would LOVE cookies with characters!

  180. Ok, so those are super cute. I don’t really have a star wars moment. However, I do like the dark side. :) Have a great day!

  181. These are too adorable! My husband had been a Star Wars fan since he was a little boy and the movies first came out. Now we’re raising a son who is definitely walking in his footsteps. He knows WAY more about Star Wars than me!

  182. Oh my! I want these! As for my Star Wars comment? My favourite character is…drumroll, please…Han Solo. *sigh* My first crush that never really died. My babysitter’s son had all the action figures and vehicles as we were growing up (and I mean ALL of them – I wonder how much they would be worth today?), and I always fit in a wedding betwen all the intergalactic battles we had. Of course, he married Leia, but in my 5 year old mind, he married me. :)

  183. Oh me, been a fan since the early 80s — and love Darth Vader. :) Not many figures, but still have my figures from back then, a couple newer ones from Episode III. Favorite original trilogy movie, Empire Strikes Back; favorite new trilogy movie, Revenge of the Sith. And boy do I want a cookie right now, give me Vader! :)

    Lois

  184. Those are so cute!! My nephew would love them. He’s very into star wars! Ok we both are very into star wars. we even went to the “magic behind star wars” exhibition when it came to sydney!! I got to meet an ewok and hug R2-D2

  185. The minute I opened the email my son said I need those for my birthday!!! He wants to do a star wars birthday party and would love to have these cookies. You are right they need a chewbacca, Leah, and Hans. I was thinking of just using the outline for the cookies and using the transfer press part on fondant to cover the cookie that would be really cute.

  186. These are the coolest cookie cutters ever!! My boys saw me reading this and they said, “Mom…you have to get these!” So even if i don’t win…looks like we’ll be getting these! So totally cool!

  187. R2-D2 is my fave character on Star Wars!! These are really awesome cookie cutters! Love them and will have to definitely get them!! =)

  188. I have never seen the movie but my husband has many times. I son would adore these cookies.
    thanks!

  189. My cousin is a huge Star Wars fan–he named one of his sons Luke! I remember when he was younger he had this Darth Vader piggy bank, and when you’d put money in he’d move and say, “Impressive…most impressive…but you’re not a Jedi yet!!!!” and the imperial march would play. Basically, it was awesome.

  190. Those are adorable! My son collects Star Wars legos. These cookies would be a hit!

  191. Oh, I think my son and father would pass out if I made cookies with these! My son is such a Star Wars freak – last year he insisted he wanted a 3D Darth Vader head birthday cake. I tried making my first fondant bd cake, and it ended up looking like a mutant gorilla head on a platter, but he was just happy I tried. Cutting the fondant with cookie cutters would have been so much easier…

  192. Oh I love all the Star Wars movies…ALL of them!! My son has soooo many figurines and legos I can’t even begin to count. One of my favorite games is the Star Wars Leggo game for the Wii….so stink’n cute! Well, hope I win because I am addicted to cookie cutters and candy molds so this will be a treat to add and use. Thanks for the opportunity to enter.

  193. My husband is a huge Star Wars fan, he would love these! Well, he’d love the cookies I’d make with them anyway!

  194. My husband and kids LOVE Star Wars. My husband has miniature characters from his childhood days. I’d love to surprise him with these cookies on Father’s Day!

  195. WOW!! That’s all I can say!

  196. star wars was the movie growing up and my nephew who is close to my age was everything star wars…it reminds me of being a kid

  197. WOW! Now I’ve seen everything. How cool are those cookie cutters!!!

I’ve been a Star Wars fan since I was 7 years old, that’s 32 years of loving those characters. Thank you for the post I look forward to searching for those in Canada.

  198. I have never seen any of the star wars movies…I know, I should be ashamed…but…my boyfriend & his friends absolutely love it! They got each other light sabers for their 30th birthdays and acted out some big scene in the backyard…no worries…we’ve got it recorded on a cell phone somewhere…lol

  199. The original Stars Wars trilogy is my favourite movie series of all time! I used to dress up as Princess Leia for Halloween for many years. I still have my Star Wars trading cards, albums, models, figurines, big dolls and some new bobbleheads etc. As a teacher, I use Star Wars references whenever I can to get their attention! My students (well, me, too) would love these cookie cutters! May the 4th be with you too Bakerella!

  200. I for sure need thesssee
