  1. Thank you for sharing your cake pop ideas with us. I started making cake pops to help with living expenses and I really enjoy doing it.  A friend bought your Bakerella book for me and I’ve learned so much.

  2. I’d love a copy of any of your books, I’m just starting out to make cake pops (made my first batch last night)
Can I get your books in Scotland?

  7. I’d love to win the sweet books.Recipe books are a definite weakness of mine.I’m a collector & I also like to play in the kitchen!

  8. Hi, there. I am a follower from Sweden, and unfortunately non of your books, toys or anything is available here :( do you have any tip on how to get hold of it? (amazon does not deliver to the part of Sweden i’m in)
is there any web page where i can download it to my computer (the book, not the toys xD )

  9. I am a long time reader of your blog. I really enjoy coming here every week to see what neat things you have baked. However, lately your blog has degenerated into shameless self promotion. If I cared about your book I would buy it or get it from the library. Don’t use what was once an interesting and innovative blog to plug your crap. Or at the very least add it as an addition to a new and interesting treat. Also don’t post links to other websites that pay you to make pops. If you don’t have time to write interesting and original posts maybe you should stop blogging.

  10. Wow, You are amazing and the cake pops also :)

  11. You should take part in a contest for one of the greatest blogs on the internet. I most certainly will recommend this site!

  12. Christmas Eve was always spent with my mother’s side of the family. We would all get together and bring treats and apps. One year my mom made a whole gingerbread scene complete with tree, house, Santana’s sleigh and reindeer. I loved when we started the tradition of getting to unwrap one gift when we got home which was pretty late, generally after midnight. Never stopped us kids from waking up at 5am the next day but we always had to wait until the clock struck 7am to wake the folks and start unwrapping Santa’s gifts! :)

  13. we have a finger food party. For the desert of coarse we have cake pops and we also have mince pies. It’s so exiting!

  14. These cake pops look very delicious. Thanks for the creative holiday idea.

  15. I’m still very sad that none of your books are available in german yet… though I don’t have a problem with english cook/baking books…
but congratulations on your new book! It looks really awesome. Too bad I passed the chance to win one :)
Well never had luck with such things anyway, lol XD

  16. Although the past couple of years have been tough, we try to keep the holiday tradition of going to the levee and watch the bonfire here in Louisiana. We lost everything in hurricane Katrina and move to the outskirts of the city only to be hit again this year by hurricane Issac. One thing that we still hold onto is time with family. I am looking forward to this holiday season.

  17. My kids brought home the flyer for their Scholastic Book Fair this week. Inside was “Cake Pops Holidays!” The cover was different though with penguins, wreaths, gingerbread houses, and elves. Super cute!

Everyone dresses up nice and chows down on some tamales, enchiladas, and spanish rice! Since I can remember, it’s been tradition for each child to open x1 gift (usually from great-grandma). It’s the only time of year that every single one of the cousins can get together. I missed the event two years ago due to a deployment to Afghanistan, so the last one and all others to follow will be especially significant for us all!

All the hard work that goes into making sure everything is just right and delicious pays off. Cake pops will have to be a new addition to the treat family! :0)

  104. My CHIRSTmas eve tradition is 1. Eat some homemade dinner with my family:) 2. CHIRSTmas eve service at church:) 3. Open one present and save the rest for the morning!!

  105. We usually spend Christmas Eve dinner with extended family and friends, then go home to open one gift each with our children before bedtime, & we usually do the Christmas pjs also. 110. Our family attends Christmas Eve service – then we get together to enjoy the treats me made for the holidays. I start making cookies in November for the holidays. It’s a tradition started by my late mother. I use several of her cookie recipes – which I still have in her handwriting. I make up to 25 varieties, and share them with family and friends.

  111. We do noche buena at myin laws house.

  112. We always spend Christmas Eve with my husbands family opening gifts and attending Midnight Mass.

My family only opened one gift and it was always pajamas or something to wear to Midnight Mass!

  113. When I was a kid, we always went out for Mexican food (don’t know why Mexican, that’s just how it started) and then went home and watched a christmas movie together. Now that I have my own family, we are working on having our own traditions!

  124. The Food – is our favorite part of the Holiday season!

  125. i spend my christmas eve baking cookies and watching old christmas flicks while i prep my dinner and wrapped presents.

  126. When I was about 7, my mother taught me to memorize “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.” Every year since then, even if we were not together and had to call each other, we recite the poem in unison on Christmas Eve. I went through a period of feeling like it was hokey but now 35 years later and with my own daughter, it feels like a link to Christmas past and to Christmas future as I will teach my daughter the same.

  127. Christmas eve is always a big production for my family! We cook like we will never eat again and I am usually the one in charge of making the dessert!

  128. The best part of the holidays is decorating. I love putting away the every day items & pulling out my 15 totes of Christmas decorations. Of course, there’s the tree, but there is also the nativity scene, stockings, Christmas books for the kids, countdowns, mini trees, door hangers, Santa collection, and just a few lights outside…enough to appease the kids. My favorite time is turning off all the regular lights & just having the tree lit up with the soft, white lights…there is nothing more soothing or relaxing!

  129. For Christmas Eve, we go to church and have a huge diner with family and friends.

  131. Christmas Eve is spent making cookies with my boys.
Speaking of boys, the cake pop box needs a boy on it. Mine LOVE making cake pop’s.

  132. I’m SO excited about the Cake Pops Toy …for me! Nevermind that I’m a 20-something :)

My family always spends Christmas eve together, having dinner then opening *one* gift from under the tree before going to the evening service. It’s a time where we eat ALOT of Grammys home cooking (yum!) and we sit together enjoying each others company in the holiday spirit! I also get to exercise my baking skills and make a bunch of treats for everyone!

  137. I used to go to my nanas for christmas eve but then she died. so now my family started a new tradiotion that we go to a local restaurant then to our family friends for yankee swap and dessert. Then we go home and make cookies for santa. Maybe this year it could be christmas cake pop ;)
