Peek-a-boo

IMG_5448

I went to get a few groceries and found this looking back at me. This is the coolest thing. I couldn’t wait to show you. More about it soon… once I stop pinching myself.

P.S. I don’t usually have my camera handy when I’m buying butter, but I thought it might come in handy this time.

  6. Congratulations – what a success story. So inspiring. I came across your blog by accident looking for ideas for Easter treats last year. Like everyone else, I freaked out and fell in LOVE with your bunny and chick cake pops. Seriously, I was shaking with excitement as I was making them. They were an instant hit with my then 3 and 1 year old. Now I make them for almost every holiday – can’t wait to try the Halloween ones. I ordered your book online – it’s not yet available here in Canada. Any chance you’ll come up to Calgary or Edmonton for a book signing? We have some lovely mountains here in Banff/Lake Louise. I can be your connection to us “Canadian bakers”…Keep up posted on your book tour please!

  45. Wow how wonderful for you. You deserve it you are very talented!

  46. I actually had never heard of you, but I have a fall ritual of buying myself one of those little seasonal (usually Halloween) cookbooks. I bounce between Taste of Home, Betty Crocker, Pilsbury, FBNR… this year the only one that really caught my attention was the above fall baking book. The whole book is awesome, but I was turned on to your cake pops and this blog here. I made a batch, banana cake with vanilla frosting and chocolate chip coating… and I’m in LOVE. I will be making more for sure, and I am DYING to get your new book! So… thank you :).

  47. Hey I just saw this yesterday at the grocery store! only saw the top portion and instantly though someone was just copying you!! Silly me. So cute. I almost bought it, but now I need to go back and buy it!!

  48. Not only did I see that book at the checkout, I also saw your cakepop book at Barnes and Nobles. Too cool!!!
I stopped by to get inspiration from your cakepops to decorate Oreos this weekend. Off to check out your cakepop gobblins.

  49. I just purchased this issue at the market. Although I do not typically use any pre-packaged products I’d noticed your mug on the cover and was instantly drawn in!

I’ve seen plenty of your baked goods around the blogosphere and I’m now absolutely dying to try my hand at cake balls. My family hates my admiration for cup cakes so maybe I can win them over with a cake pop.

Thanks for sharing such wonderful and creative ideas!

  71. Ha! I saw that at the store and shook my head in wonder that Betty Crocker was ripping off Bakerella! I thought they had totally stolen your idea. Guess I should have actually taken it out of the rack and then I would have seen your smiling face there in the bottom corner. :)

Mine are not as pretty as yours, but they will work. All the best!
