Pop Star: Noelle in Canada
“I made these red velvet cupcake pops for my son’s school for their Fun Fair. This was my second time making them and wanted them to have a marble look. These cupcake pops have become a favourite with my family and friends. They are always asking when am I making some more!” – Noelle

March 16, 2011 11:03 AMHi Will,
March 21, 2011 10:18 PMI got the marble effect by first dipping
the cupcake pop in melted chocolate
then while still wet, drizzle melted
white chocolate using a toothpick
and once dried gives a marble
effect. It is very easy to do.

oops I made a mistake,
March 21, 2011 10:35 PMI had made the other way before, Ha!
So, this one I dipped in white chocolate,
then drizzled chocolate with a toothpick
while chocolate is still wet.

April 7, 2011 11:34 PMHi, where can I get the receipe for those
May 3, 2011 01:53 PMCake pops? I’m very interested trying them out ;)
Hi Eileen,
I used the red velvet cake recipe from Martha Stewart Living
May 9, 2011 03:32 PMwebsite of her recipes. Then I used a basic buttercream icing.
I bought Merkens white chocolates for dipping the cupcake
pops in and Merkens milk chocolates for the swirls.
I have also used Bakerella’s recipes too.
Have fun making them :)
Hi Noelle
