“Well… if you know any little girls under the age of 8 then you must also know most have a love of all things pink and princess like. I made a (Debbie Brown inspired) castle cake these cake pops and for a friends niece’s 4th Birthday (and a few extras for all the other princess obsessed little girls that I knew would love them). Pink, princess themed, magic wands… they got to use their imagination and their taste buds… the best of both worlds! I used strawberry cake, mashed strawberries, gelatin and a little SMBC dipped in pink melts with various sugars and some in white prespinkled melts plus added star confetti and tied the fringed ribbons to the bottom.” – Pattye

That’s great. I was impressed by your writing. I am happy to see such a topic. Please come to my blog and read it.
Hi! These are absolutely adorable!!!! My little 4 year old wants to have a princess party. I would love to make these. I just need to know the easiest way to shape the stars. Did you just shape them or did you use anything. And also, how did you do the ribbon. I love them!! :)
SMBC- I belive stands for Swiss Meringue ButterCream
Did you cut them out with a star cookie cutter? I tried that for the heart-shaped cake pops & it was crazy hard!
Can I ask you how you did the ribbon on this adorable princess wands? I would like to do them for someone for her little girls princess party.
Thank you!
Those pops are AbFAB! You did a star-studded job and I bet those little girls were thrilled. My twin girls are 16 and they STILL love all things pink and sparkly….especially when you can eat them, lol. BTW, what is “SMBC”?
Thanks from fellow pop star Wendy in California.
