Pop Star: Aimee in California

090_popstars-aimee-lg

“I absolutely adore making cakeballs/cakepops, and I made these cakeballs masquerading as mini ice cream cones for a friend’s birthday. This particular friend loves food that looks like something other than what it is, so the ice cream cones were part of a buffet spread that contained Rice Krispies treat “sushi,” cookie “hamburgers,” sugar cookie “french fries” and cupcakes that looked like spaghetti and meatballs, chow mein, and fruit pies. Hope you enjoy looking at these as much as I enjoyed making them!” – Aimee

Aimee these are awesome. Did you fill the whole cone with cake or just put a cake ball on the top?

Aimee, these are soooo cute! I’m with Audry…..I wanna see! I hope you took pictures of everything. I’m a big crafter as well as a baker and I like to combine the two.
You did great!

These are super cute!! But where did you buy your cones from? I can’t find them to order anywhere here in the states (at least, not the sugar cone-style)!
