Where I shop…

Cake Art Party Store! I started going here about two years ago when the baking and cake decorating bug bit me. When I first walked in, I was overwhelmed. Actually, I’m still overwhelmed. There’s so much stuff I don’t know… don’t even have a clue about… but I feel like I learn something new every single time I visit. Unfortunately, I can’t do that very often because this store makes me spend money.

Cake Art Party Store

Like on these things. I’m serious… this place is dangerous. I think I get a sugar high or something when I walk in … my heart starts racing … I start picking random stuff up. And when I get home, bags full… I’m like, what just happened.

Cake Art Party Store

But, when you see all these… in one place. You start thinking… do I have enough yellow sprinkles. I can’t remember. Okay, get some more and get some blue ones, and red ones while you’re at it.

Cake Art Party Store

And then, you start thinking that you can’t live without blue teddy bear sprinkles or green palm tree sprinkles, or pink pigs. And what if someone has a baby… I need those baby sprinkles or wait, boys like cupcakes… what about helmet and football sprinkles. You see where I’m going. Let’s just say that I have accumulated my fair share of sprinkles.

The funny thing is … I hardly ever use them on cupcakes or cakes. It just makes me feel good knowing I have them just in case. I know … weird! But, they do come in handy when it comes to decorating cake pops, so that’s how I justify it.

Cake Art Party Store

You can even buy them in bags!

Cake Art Party Store

Here’s something I’ve never tried… and I think I’ll leave for the pros… Airbrush! Pretty colors, though.

Cake Art Party Store

Speaking of colors… did you know you can buy rolled fondant that is already tinted?

I started doing this recently with red fondant because it is seriously a pain to tint it yourself and get it a deep red color.

Cake Art Party Store

Now, a lot of people don’t like the taste of fondant, they just like the look of it from a visual perspective. So, if you just want to experiment, then play around and buy it pre-made. Just don’t get this much. You can stick with the 1 pound packages.

Or if you really want, make some from scratch. I hear marshmallow fondant is pretty good.

Cake Art Party Store
Anyone need 25 lbs of buttercream frosting?

Cake Art Party Store

Or tinted buttercream?

Cake Art Party Store

Not me. I like to make my own buttercream and tint it myself. Yummy!

Cake Art Party Store

Need some petit four icing? Just snip the tip and go. Great for beginners.

Cake Art Party Store

Marzipan… I haven’t dabbled in this stuff yet, but I do like saying the name. Marzipan!

Cake Art Party Store

Check this out! This might just be the best part of the store. Pans! Round ones, oval ones, heart-shaped ones, square ones! And in graduated sizes, too! And different heights! Help me, please.

Cake Art Party Store

Tools. I love tools. Offset spatulas and flat spatulas. Thank you.

Cake Art Party Store

Inside these little trays are every decorating tip you can think of and some you can’t. Grab some disposable bags and couplers and you’re set.

Cake Art Party Store

There’s so much stuff in the store that you can miss little things like this. Petal dust and luster dust… I think I’m in love. Now, I just have to figure out what to do with it.

Cake Art Party Store

Need to stack a big cake? Sorry, I can’t help you… haven’t done that.

Cake Art Party Store

Mine are little and usually just end up on cake boards like these.

Cake Art Party Store

And sometimes, they get put in cake boxes. I love cake boxes. Especially the tiny ones.
Little cakes in little boxes are just the cutest!

Cake Art Party Store

Need some party supplies? They have that, too.

Cake Art Party Store

Baking cups for boys and girls.

Cake Art Party Store

Tons and tons of plastic cake toppers. I’ve never bought anything down this aisle…

Cake Art Party Store

But, this one made me laugh so hard, I almost bought it for a Mother’s Day cake. Then, I pictured myself on Cake Wrecks and stopped myself. :)

Cake Art Party Store

Father’s Day is around the corner, though…

Cake Art Party Store

Almost done… hang in there. Cookie cutters are always fun to have.

Cake Art Party Store

And so are these. I have this set of dual sided graduated cutters. I love them and they come in super handy when I make fondant covered cupcakes.

Cake Art Party Store

Gadgets galore! I can’t stand in this section too long because my pantry just isn’t big enough.

And guess what… that’s just the half of it. Actually, the 1/8th of it. I wish I could show you everything.
Coming soon… candy stuff!

Hope you guys liked looking at all that stuff and thanks Cake Art for letting me show everyone that there’s a much bigger cake world than the 9 inch cake pans I used to buy in the grocery store. And guess what guys… most of it’s easier than you think.

  1. I really do need to find a store like that. I would be in heaven. My favorite decorating tool has to be Viva paper towels. I use them with a fondant smoother to make my buttercream icing smooth. It works great and doesn’t leave a pattern like some paper towels would.

  2. I love all the sprinkles! So many to choose from! Looks like a road trip this summer to check this store out!

  3. my favorite baking item? probably my kitchenaid mixer. it is amazing how much easier that makes things…

  4. I just wanted to let you know I almost peed my pants looking at that. How fun is that?! My favorite tool is just a piping bag with tips, because that’s all I know how to use! =P I’d love to dabble in cake decorating when I get the time, though!

  5. Awesome store.
I love pink glitter flakes. I used them to decorate turrets on my daughter’s castle cake. So pretty.

  6. My favorite is my mini muffin pan. I also think littler = cuter! I use it so much the teflon coating is wearing off!
    kmatherne@gmail.com

  7. flat spatula

  8. My favorite baking tool is my mother’s old pastry board. It’s huge and wooden and has such great memories of baking christmas cookies.

Sprinkles I’ve always wanted but have never found: mushrooms. I’m one of those crazy mushroom fans (not to eat, though – just to look at).

My oldest son’s birthday is coming up. After seeing all these pictures he is in his room compiling a list of what I should have to make his birthday cake! *falls over*

  9. i love my cookie scoop!! it saves me so much time since i bake cookies all the time. msnavyggirl2002 @ yahoo dot com

  10. Ooh! Awesome, inspiring store…ideas probably flood your brain, as you walk down each aisle. I would think that this would justify..rationalize..be enough to balance out the $$$$ you spend. What do you think?

    Love my stackable cooling racks!
    jo(dot)whitehurst@gmail(dot)com

  11. Oh my goodness! That store is phenomenal! I wish I had a store like that near me. I’d have to change out my whole pantry to accommodate everything. I’m such a sucker for pretty or cute things. My favorite thing (right now) is parchment paper. I didn’t realize how many uses it had until recently. lisamorris@prodigy.net

  12. That store looks amazing!! My favorite baking tool is a turntable – makes decorating around cakes so much easier! I also love to use shimmer powder on cakes. As a farm girl, I think the pink pig sprinkles are great!! My blog: kristajoyonline.blogspot.com

  13. Wow, what a store, and oh, how addicting it must be! I absolutely adore baking and must say that it is my workhorse, my kitchen aid mixer, that I just wouldn’t know what to do without! Thanks so much for sharing!

  14. Really pretty sanding sugar!!

  15. My favorite baking tool(aside from my kitchenaid stand mixer) would have to be my cookie scoops – I have 3 sizes of them. The largest is great for big cookies and is the perfect size for cupcake batter. The smaller sizes are great for cookies and cake balls!

  16. I would be in that store for days!!
    Love your baking blog!

Anytime I frost a cake, I use my turntable. Couldn’t do without it!
    rval954@gmail.com

  17. Sprinkles – Of course!!!

  18. I LOVE my offset spatula! It makes icing anything so much easier and prettier! Now I need to check out that store’s website!

  19. I’d have to say my Kitchenaid mixer is my favorite tool!

    jen_lancaster [at] yahoo [dot] com

  20. My favorite baking tool is probably my nonstick bakeware that has plastic lids with handles. I almost always am in a rush when baking so it’s useful to just be able to carry the pan around to where it needs to go.

  21. I love to bake – all year round. This month, been baking banana bread and absolutely love the silicone pans because it makes it easier to ‘pop’ out the bread instead of sitting there banging the metal ones lol

    hokiegrl78@gmail.com

  22. I don’t have a favorite tool yet, just getting the bug. That store looks like a ton o’ fun though! Too bad I’m too far away to actually go there…nothing is ever the same online.
    angelsbrew@yahoo.com

  23. I wish I had a shop like that nearby! You are so luck!

  24. I love this store!!! I could live in this store and never leave.

  27. I love everything about baking. But I just would be completely lost without my parchment paper and my KA mixer! I really need some sprinkle variety in my life. Thanks for posting the link to this place!

  28. I am overwhelmed by this store… but secretly wishing I could make a trip east to shop my brains out! OMG! So cool!
    joyadee@gmail.com

  29. My icing spatulas are my favorite tools. I’m not sure what I did before I had those! I’m not sure I want to remember.

    bttrflybabydoll[@]gmail.com

  30. I enjoyed every second of that. Nice. I think I totally need some of those graduated cutters! How fabulous that they are both round and crinkle. Perfect! I think my favorite tool is my wire horizontal cake cutter. I love splitting my layers so perfectly! I just have the little one, but it’s fabulous!!! I hope I win. It’s my birthday today! :) Thanks!

  31. Holy cow! I don’t have any idea how you are going to pick from allllll these posts! My favorite decorating tool is by far my printer! Yep, that’s right, my printer! I love doing photo cookies, or cookies with printed art. They really help me to be creative.

    tracy@sugarbeez.com

  32. My favorite baking item is my mini-muffin tin. They take less time to bake and when I do cinnamon rolls in them, I don’t have to let them rise as long as my big ones! It is great! Plus, my son loves the “bite” size of them!

    meganferguson@juno.com

  33. Wow! I really wish I had a store like that to shop at, however I think my husband wouldn’t be to happy! I too spend way to much money when I’m in the vicinity of baking products. My favorite tool has to be my Silpat. I love to make cookies and LOVE how the silpat helps makes them even all over, even on the bottom! I also have an addiction to buying sprinkles.

  34. What an amazing store! My favorite decorating tool is actually the 3 piece mini set from Pampered Chef.
    kscpn5@gmail.com

  35. Sounds super simple, but my favorite baking item is parchment paper. It makes life so much easier. Without a nice flat cake top- what would I decorate?

  36. I love my cookie dough scoop (like the mini ice cream ones) because I usually make cookies and everybody always marvels at how professional they look! I also love my springform pan because it makes yummy cheesecakes!

  37. Holy sprinkles Batman!!! That store has more sprinkles than I have ever seen in my life, how awesome is that!!! My favorite tool is my pink kitchen aid, not sure if that really counts, but I couldn’t do half the stuff with out it and it’s pink!!!

  38. I love baking cookies- I usually go nuts with about 10 different kinds for Christmas! But now I’m hooked on cupcake bites, too!

  39. I wish I had a store like that near me! I can see how you get carried away. I don’t have a lot of tools since the “baking bug” as you put it has only recently bitten me. I like my mechanical pastry bag from Williams Sonoma. I’m practicing my decorating on the flower cupcakes I make with the pan I got there too.
    ddanded@cox.net

  40. I couldn’t live without my scoop — I used it for thick battered cupcakes and cookies..
    Thanks!

  41. omg! I looove sprinkles! I love just standing in the sprinkle aisle and looking at all the pretty colors, it makes me look like :-D but I like to think my nose is smaller!

My favorite tool is definitely my little blue bowl scraper. It was a wedding gift and I use it for everything I can!

  42. I love my spatulas! And wooden spoons. And bowls.

  43. Oh my goodness! We will be driving through GA at the end of the month and we might have to make an extra stop!!! I love cookie cutters! I think they would have some that we don’t have!
    http://kimberleefaith.blogspot.com

  44. I just organized my sprinkles into spice jars like you have Bakerella…I love all types of sprinkles. They really do make me happy to just look at them.

    http://www.mamouney.blogpsot.com

  45. My favorite baking tool is my kitchenaid stand mixer. I love it more than any of my piping bags, icing tips, or cake decorating gizmos and gadgets. As for sprinkles, I would just like ones that are different or unique and that can’t be found at Michael’s.
    peekaboo_iseeyou(at)hotmail(dot)com

    lbceschnee@sbcglobal.net

  59. Ohmy! This store is wonderful! Keep those photos coming! Do they have a catalog/mailorder? My favorite “tool” has to be parchment paper. Love that stuff! And I would LOVE to start collecting those colorful sprinkles-and probably never use them, but they are oh so pretty!

    Jill
    jillmc22595@yahoo.com

  60. I think I’m too late actually! Just wanted to say how lucky it is to have such a place to buy sprinkles and supplies like that. In the Manchester (UK) there’s nothing like that. Whenever I see the odd jar of Wilton Sprinkles in the baking supply shop, I pounce on them! Unfortunately they work out really expensive. I did on some white stars on ebay.co.uk recently only for the final asking price to end up at over £6 for 1 ounce of sprinkles. Glad I didn’t win the auction. I’m keeping my eye out for some edible glitter going cheap!

Just as a small PS. Thank you for the blog – it really cheers me up! I love checking up on your pop-progress and anything else you have on there. Your whole blog reminds of Spring, sunsine and smiles.

  64. My favorite tool is my rubber spatula.

  65. I think I need to take a road trip to Tucker, GA! GAH, that place looks wonderful. As far as tools, I love my baking strips. Each layer comes out perfectly flat. It’s brilliant!

I have started making Amish Frienship bread and it is perect for that! Love all you do, you are so talented. I have been looking for the silver balls(maybe they don’t make them anymore). I would be tickled to receive any kind of sprinkles, though!

  71. Mine is probably a flat spatula. I haven’t gotten to experimemt much with decoration yet but I can appreciate a flat spatula any day of the week.

  72. WOW and right around the corner – kinda. I live in Atlanta too. I just might be taking a trip there soon!!!

  73. I too LOVE that store! And it’s less than 5 miles from my house! I love the boxes they carry–perfect for all the cookies I bake and give away. I can get a box that will hold 1 or 2 or 25 cookies! And the ladies who work there are so nice! I can’t believe I’ve never seen you there!!

  121. Great post. I’d be lost in that store. I made sugar cookies this weekend and the only sprinkles I could find were standard rainbow jimmies. I’d love a selection for future baking.

    scotteichinger AT msn.com

  122. My favorite would definitely have to be my cake decorating toolbox filled with tips and bags.

  123. Wow! I would LOVE LOVE LOVE that place, but I too would be overwhelmed with all that stuff! My favorite baking tool …really would be the sprinkles! LOL Thanks for showing us the store!

  124. my favourite would be my kitchenaid mixer – it just makes things sooo much easier! And i would love to find motorcycle sprinkles. I’ve never seen any but I keep looking.

    TheLuchy (at) gmail (dot) com

  125. ooh how fun!
My cake decorating spinning lazy Susan thingie has made it SO much easier to ice cakes!

Our last name is Clover, I have always looked for clover/shamrock sprinkles… no luck tho!

    dana@homesteadinghousewife.com

  126. That’s so amazing; I wish I lived there!!! Then again, it might be dangerous… My favorite baking tool is my handy Kitchen Aid MixMaster.

  127. My favorite baking tool is my Kitchenaide mixer! Love that thing! I use it for everything and my children are too now!

  128. You made me want to get up and make cupcakes at 5:30 in the morning! I am going to google how far that store is from my house! Thanks for sharing and thanks for the great giveaway!

  129. This post is like sprinkle heaven for me here in the UK! We have access to a very small amount of sprinkles here so I loved reading your thread!
I have so many favourite culinary items but right now it would have to be either my 1m decorating tip or my new angled spatula which makes pallet icing so much easier!
Thanks for a great post and fabulous blog! xx

  130. WOW! What a place, almost like heaven :o) We use a lot of Marzipan in Denmark….and it’s a treat! Where others make roses of fontant…..we make roses of Marzipan. :o) More difficultie to work with then fontant, but it taste better.

  131. WOAH! a WHOLE store for cake art!! I’m so new at “cake decorating” but I think that your styrofoam block idea is the coolest for drying cake pops. I need a new piece already tho, I threw away my last one once it had too much icing dripped all over it!

  132. oh how cool is that place??? to be honest… I am a horrible baker. Seriously awful, but that store is so cheerful!

  133. Holy Cow girl,I would have died and gone to heaven. I would MOVE IN THERE!… You would never ever ever get me out of there. I must know if they have other stores??? The decisions you have just when you walk in must be tremendous….

  134. Oh my. I absolutely love the look of coarse, colored sugars! But I’m sad to say that I don’t have a offset spatula… man, I wish I would remember to buy one the next time I’m at the store..

  135. Mine might not be a specific tool, but a beautiful cake plate that my Father-in-law gave me that I love to put my cakes on. Everything looks great on this cake plate, it makes me want to make cakes to put on it.

  136. I would really love sprinkles in the shape of whales! Or cute yellow giraffes. My favorate baking tool is my heart-shaped cupcake tin!

    Love your site!

  137. Holy Cow girl,I would have died and gone to heaven. I would MOVE IN THERE!… You would never ever ever get me out of there. I must know if they have other stores??? The decisions you have just when you walk in must be tremendous….

  138. I’d be in heaven.. My favorite decorating tool is the off set spatula. I also love pearl dragees for decorating.

  139. My favorite baking supply has GOT to be sprinkles!!! My three sisters and I make Christmas cookies every year, it’s a ritual, even though we’re all adults and moved out of our parents house!!! My parents have HUNDREDS of cookie cutters from when we were little, but we are, sadly, very low on sprinkles :(

    gainfulemployment@gmail.com

  140. WOW! I think I’d be in major debt if that store was near me. My favorite baking tool to use right now is my teeny-weeny muffin pan. It’s great for bite size cupcakes and brownies. Everyone loves them!

    k8slong@msn.com

  141. First of all let me just say I wish there was a store like that up here! I’m doing good to find sprinkles at the grocery store so you can imagine the lack of choices. ;)
I love my heart shaped cake pans. I love that I can make cakes for my children and all the people I love in the shape of a heart. I call them “love cakes”. :)

  142. WOW…that was enlightening
never have I seen so much happiness in one spot…I would spend the mortgage in there…not a good place for me to visit…although given the chance I would…LOL..thanks Bakerella for the eye opener.I need the SPRINKLES zetatwain@aol.com

  143. What a dream store. I’d be lost in there. My favorite baking tool would have to be my Kitchen Aid.
And I cannot tell you how much we (four boys) LOVE sprinkles at our house! Awesome!

  144. wow it s amazing all those colors! wish we had a store like this here in paris.

    bisous

  145. I have a sprinkle addiction, myself!! Thank God there isn’t a store like that near me, my husband would probably divorce me!!haha

    denisekimball@yahoo.com

  146. That store is amazing…nothing like it that I’ve ever seen! I’d love a try at some new sprinkles. My selection is woefully inadequate–though I am really a novice at this…I’m not sure I’d actually qualify as a novice if you saw some of my attempts but I am learning!
    Thanks!

  147. I love my offset spatula and my KitchenAid mixer. But my guilty pleasures are candy molds! I have dozens!

    alyciatruett@gmail.com

  148. I really love edible glitter! It is just way fun and sparkly!

  149. Sign me up for some sprinkles. My granddaughter loves to bake cupcakes, especially by copying yours, and would love her some sprinkles.

  150. aaaaaaaaaaa, do they have an online address and do they ship overseas? this store is a dream!!!!!!!!!

  151. What a magical place! WOW!~~My absolute fave cake decor item are those little ballerinas! But my fave sprinkles which I don’t currently have, are pale green sprinkles!~~~XXOO, Beth

  152. Yes, sprinkles, can’t live without them, and Satin Ice fondant, the easiest and most flavorful fondant, make the most elegant cupcakes.

  153. Wow, I wish there was a store like that near me. My favorite sprinkles that I have yet to purchase are sugar pearls. I swoon every time I see them, since I’m a pearl girl through and through. Maybe soon!

Contact info on my blog :)

  154. OMG – I had no idea that so many cake decorating things existed like that. It’s really amazing. How long do things like sprinkles, etc last? The thing I can’t find in the US are real chocolate sprinkles – not the brown plastic/waxy flavored ones that we sell in stores here. Any chance this store sells them? What a great contest. You are too generous.

  155. That store looks incredible!! I’m so glad I don’t have one near me:)
My favorite tool would have to be my Tappits. I am absolutely terrible at writing on cakes so Tappits are a great was for me to do all my wording.

  156. I love cookie cutters! I use them for cookies, of course, and to cut fun sandwich shapes for my daughters’ lunches. Also, I’ve been trying to find the candies you used on top of the graduation caps. I might just use mini-chocolate chips, though.

  157. OMG, I could never imagine a store like this exists. There is a store that sells similar items here in Slovenia, but no sprinkles, no color, and the most awful cake toppers you could imagine. But you can get a star-shaped baking pan, wow! :-P
    http://athena125.blogspot.com/

  158. Hi, I will try a good english…It’s the first time I see 1049 comments….congratulation! I follow your blog since some months, you are incredible, really your amazing.
Ok, here in Paris we have some shops like that you show as but it’s smoller and I think I will came to USA to buy planty of this magic sugar, frosting. Here we just have white fondant…so you see we are sed people. :(
I hope I will win, If I was there I will buy the nice nick men for some friends and for my sister and planty of cake boxes!!
Kristel (italian girk living in Paris)

  159. Holy crap, that store is 10 minutes away from my husband’s aunts house. I must visit the next time we’re in the area! I can hear the cake pans calling my name…

  160. Wow! I would seriously spend a weekend just to drive down and go to that store! Amazing! My favorite baking item is the fancy foil wrap that covers cake boards! And, surprisingly, I’ve been looking all over our little down for some heart shaped sprinkles. Hearts? Really? Why are they that hard to find?!
    aecomber@bsu.edu

  161. Wow. That’s crazy! I love sprinkles and don’t have many. I love all the different colors!

  162. WOW, I have never ever seen a store like that in my life. WHEW. That would be so fun to go through it.
I love any type of sprinkles to share with my grandson.
My favorite tool is silly but it is my turn table and my cupcake 1M tip and the tip to fill cupcakes with.
    Susie

  163. It’s so hard to pick one favorite! Ack!

Does my KitchenAid mixer count? Nah. Probably not.

I guess I would say cupcake holders. All kinds!

    gencojournal@gmail.com

  164. i would love to go in that store..oh my gosh heaven. My favorite tool is my spatula
    cwilliams8@columbus.rr.com

  166. I love cookie cutters. You can never have too many.

  167. I live overseas, but have a US address to mail to. SO anything to help me decorated would be wonderful. I can not get any of the sprinkles here. I would love foundant too.
BUT I can make my own buttercream frosting here so that helps. Right now I use a lot of mini M&M's to decorate or skiddles.

  168. I enjoy my cookie cutters. =oD

  169. Oh my, I would be very overwhelmed in that store!!

    I love offset spatulas!

I also love love love my KA stand mixer, I could NOT live without it.

  170. OMG- luv it.

I love my stand mixer and offset spatula!!!!!

    Vani77@bellsouth.net

  171. Spatulas! I can never have enough of them in my kitchen!

  172. my fave naking item has to be these gorgeous cupcake liners i saw recently!quite possibly on your site lol!
    abs__rox@hotmail.com

  173. That looks amazing! In England we don’t have anything even close to that size. In fact, the specialist cake shops are something ridiculous like 20ft by 20ft. My living room (lounge?) is bigger than that! And we *definately* don’t have that many sprinkles. And my favourite baking tool is… probably my 1M piping nozzle. I adore it. Probably a bit too much, but it makes such pretty icing!

  174. My favorite is heart sprinkles ( the only thing I own)In Norway it isn’t easy to get great equipment / ingredients for baking/dekorating…

    Would love to be picked!

  175. I wish they had a store like that here!

    jtrsoc@gmail.com

  176. What an amusing place. I wonder if they deliver to Finland? I just love those roller fondants

  177. my heart silicone cupcake pan!

  178. my goodness, how’d you get photos of heaven??? haha :)

  179. I don’t think we even have a shop that remotely resembles Cake Art in Belgium… I should look around, cause they got some great stuff. I could order online, but it’s not the same as walking around a shop like that…

  180. I love the idea of tinted icing, but I’ve never been able to find any over here. I made your Valentine’s cake and I had to tint the icing by hand… and it was still only dark pink…

  181. Wow! I’ve never seen a store like that before!

I would soo be in trouble.

I’m just in a tiny town in Kansas and am afraid the sprinkles I get are pretty mundane.

I hope I win! Love your site!

    http://www.kansaschaos.blogspot.com

  182. OH drats I was hoping there was one of those stores in a 200 mile radius of me…try 2000 lol.
I think I had a mini brain orgasm looking at all the pics…maybe I need to get a life .
one of my favorite decorating tools is my 6 in offset spatula, I also feel that scoops are indespensible for baking( like Ice cream scoops in all different sizes ) Awesome for cookies and muffins perfectly portioned
    chellybelle77 @ yahoo.com

  183. i only just gan with my baking&decorating, and i'm practicing before i buy anything fancy. however i've been eyeing this adorable set of heart shaped bits and pieces – comes with a cupcake tray, three sizes of cake tin and heart shaped measuring cups, but the best thing about it is the array of multicoloured heart sprinkles in heart-shaped bottles. :D i'd be set for valentines day!

and there's a boobie cake tin i bought to make the cake for my brothers birthday. :B

  184. This may sound silly, but I love my little plastic pan scraper. I bought for 99 cents at Bed Bath and Beyond and I use it for everything. Its very versatile :) Please pick me I neeeeeeed sprinkles!!!

    ssiulua@gmail.com

  185. wow… that looks like a huge toy store to me!! The srinkles are AMAZING :D and I am thrilled to hear I am not the only addicted one ;-). Do I really have to pick ONE favorite thing?? I am a gadget girl, anything that is fun and new– though half the stuff I don’t know how to work :D
    npauling@gmail.com

  186. WOW!!! I think i want to live in that shop! lol! like you, i also buy everything just in case i wanna use it! lol! I think if i ever visit this store, i will go crazy and buy everything! lol! i have been looking everywhere for mini-bundt pans but can’t find them here where i am staying..:(

  187. Love your work, Bakerella! Thanks for inspiring all of us to try new things in the kitchen.

    (Crossing my fingers!)

  188. I would LOVE to visit that store! Right now my favorite thing to use is oven liners to make cookies on. It cuts the baking time down. There are only so many cookies you can fit on a regualr tray.

  189. Sprinkles make life better! That store looks amazing too- we don’t have anything like that here. You can only find your run of the mill sprinkles. My favourite baking items are my piping tips!

  190. I know it is not very professional but I like to use food coloring to paint pictures and/or flowers on the top of cakes.

  191. its hard to have a favorite baking tool or decoration, theres just so many! but my favorite tool would have to be my silpat mat for all the cookies i make =) and for decorations, the pretty crystalized sprinkles. they look sooo nice on cheesecake frosting with my red velvet cupcakes. mmmm…

  192. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, you are a tease!!!, That store looks awesome!, my favorite gadgets would have to be my different size cookie scoops..they make things sooo much easier!jmontpet@twcny.rr.com

  193. ashleysalvesen@hotmail.com
    YAY for sprinkles!

  194. I really love sprinkles but I live in London where I can’t just walk into a baking shop and buy some :( Sainsburys (supermarket) do good ones by doctor oetker though. I have them all even the barbie ones hehehehe

  195. wow! my favourite baking tool is my fork! I do pratically all of the mixing with it! (my baking is mostly small scale)

  196. OMG my hubby will get a heart attack if we had such a store in the Netherlands because then we sure will be in crisis, maybe it’s a good thing we are so far away, my favorite baking tool is my Kenwood mixer call it Kenny for short and as for sprinkels I love them all

    info@mystylecakes.com

  197. wouaouw !

  198. WOW! I never knew such a store existed. I’d love to win some sprinkles!! :) I love my new silicone whisk. It’s actually so much easier than a metal one! :)

    http://www.leflett.blogspot.com

  199. Wow! What a stopre…fave item is of course sprinkles!!! And I use them! :)

  200. The blue bear sprinkles are fabulous!!
