Cute as a button

Candy Buttons

No, I haven’t taken up sewing. (Not yet anyway.) These adorable little buttons are all candy.

And, umm… they are like handmade.

Not by me, but remember my crazy talented, cupcake fanatic friend, Julie?

She made them for a friend’s baby shower using a fab tutorial from Bake it Pretty.

Candy Button Display

They are just about the cutest things I’ve ever seen.

Candy Buttons

The tutorial even includes a pdf for the labels so you can print them out at home and make your own packaging.

Julie made yellow, pink, green, orange and blue buttons with colored candy melts.

Just melt the candy and pour into a button mold. Let them dry and pop them right out.

Place them in small plastic bags and attach the labels. Just fold them in half and staple them together.

Candy Button Display

Or, if you’re crazy like Julie, then you make the labels work with your own wooden custom candy button display that your awesomely talented husband built for you.

Yeah, I’m sucking up in case he reads this and wants to make one for me, too.

So, instead of folding the labels in half, you can fold them in thirds. Two-thirds in front and one-third in the back so you have enough room to use a hole punch on the labels without messing up the graphics. And then just use a little double-sided tape to attach the labels to the bags.

Candy Buttons

Easy and like I said… cute as a button.

Onesie Cookies

Julie also made these onesie sugar cookies for the shower. I’m gonna work on her to get this recipe because they were really good.

Okay, back to buttons…
Here is the Candy Button Tutorial from Bakeitpretty.com.

Check out the site when you have some time. Cute stuff for baking AND for decorating!

Guess what else…?
The guys that run the site gave me a gift voucher code to shop at their store last year. I forgot I had it until Julie showed me these buttons and I remembered the email they sent me. I decided that since I had not used it yet, I wanted to give it away to one of you guys. Hopefully it still works. And if not, I’ll buy a new one for you. K?

  3. i’d have to say baking the sweets, bc by the time i’m getting ready to make them pretty, i’m pretty much pooped out

  4. Baking, baking, baking. Pretty stuff is very difficult with two kids “helping”!!

  5. I love the baking part but when it comes to making things pretty is where it gets interesting as thats where you get to be creative :3

  6. I love making sweet treats look pretty. It allows my creative side to shine!

  7. I like to bake and make things look pretty, I can’t really say I preference

  8. Not really a creative person, so I’d pick baking the sweets. :D

  9. Definately making them pretty. I’m an art student so it makes sense.
    :)

  10. Hmm… I love baking them but I think it’s the pretty-making that I’m really truly smitten over.

  11. Definitely making them look pretty! Baking is a joy, but making my creations look good enough for someone to comment is a thrill and a half. I get giggly, no lie. :]

  12. I like baking sweets, and am so inspired by your site, but I REALLY enjoy making things look pretty!

  13. Those buttons are so cute!!!
I’m mad about baking but I also love making thing pretty!

  14. i loveee making them look pretty!
Decorating is the most fun part of the baking process~
i always go crazy with the decorative items and love it when they turn out looking great!

  15. i love to bake! just wish i had the patience to make them look pretty.
your friend, she is insane! she has so much talent!!! does she do this for a living??? if no, why not?
    wow!

  16. This is a good oportunity to make more cupcakes

  17. Love the baking and just learning about the decorating. Both are fun and they taste good too!

  18. I looove baking sweets! you gotta bake them first before making them look cute!

  19. I love making my treats look cute-often to suit a theme. I also like receiving beautiful treats because I can appreciate the love that has gone into making them.

  20. Baking is my favorite part. making them pretty is just about the same!!! I can’t really choose between the two, so i’ll just say both!

  21. It’s hard to choose. I love the baking, I love the decorating. But if you’re going to MAKE me choose, I’ll have to go with baking.
It’s gotta taste good, first and foremost!

  22. They sure are cute as a button!! I love making my sweets pretty, prettier, and prettiest. If I could just decorate all day, that is what I would do. I would be the happiest person on earth if all I could do was decorate and make my sweets pretty.

  23. I like baking things and making them pretty equal amounts. I’ve found that pretty sweets get oohs and aahs at the beginning, but the best-tasting sweets are often the ones that ‘have character’. I can’t get my trifle layers even and pretty and I always drip some of the pudding layer down the inside of the bowl, ruining the layer effect, but it always tastes awesome. And my Granny made some buttermilk pralines one time that refused to set so she scooped it all into a pie crust. We could only eat the smallest slivers of pie at a time, but it was the Best. Pie. Ever.

  24. SO CUTE. I’M WORKING ON A CANDY SHOP THEME BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR MY DAUGHTER. SO GOTTA LOVE ALL YOUR TALENTS

  25. I really like to do both, but if I really have to pick one, I would lean towards the baking, as I don’t always have the time to pretty them up. But certain holidays, like Valentines especially, I like to pull out all the stops. They have to be pretty, lol!

  26. Baking sweets for sure. Once I’ve a recipe down pat, then I tend to spend more time on making it pretty. It’s definitely a work in progress, though.

  27. I like baking them best. I never got along with my mother until recently, but I’ve always had fond memories (from when I was small and before I got into the angsty, angry at everyone phase, haha) of baking with her. I’d bake with my grandfather and my grandmother every chance I got.

Baking is about love and care. If it looks pretty, that’s just a bonus.. but to enjoy the process is the best thing ever.

  28. The baking . . . and then the eating ! :))

  29. For me decorating them and admiring their beauty is definitely the highlight! What I don’t like about it is yelling at my boyfriend because he wants to eat everything the moment it comes out of the oven “Nooooo, don’t eat it! It’s not decorated!”

  30. That’s a tough choice, but I’m going to go with making them pretty. I love to see peoples faces light up when they see an extra special treat, and my kids love to decorate desserts as well, so fun bonus there too!

  31. Wow Bakerella!
I absolutely adore these buttons. (Well, because I love Coraline, and Coraline has buttons, and well.. who doesn’t want to eat buttons!)

It’s impossible to decide between making and decorating. It’s so much fun doing both with friends and family. But I suppose, when it comes to decorating, you don’t have to worry as much!

Your teenage fan from down under,
    Greta. xx

  32. I am really into making them look pretty, but they have to taste goo-oood!!! (no point in eating them if they don’t tast great!!!)

  33. OOOH – that’s a tough one. I’d have to say making them look pretty! Now I want some cookies!! ;)

  34. These are absolutely adorable…Being an avid sewer, I can think of a million uses, when hosting my guild meetings…makes me wanna start baking NOW!!!!!

  35. I enjoy bakig the sweets more. I tend to not have enough patience for decorating.

  36. While I am making them I think I like the baking part yet. When I am decorating I think I like decorating best. Surely I am not the only baker with a split personality!

  37. So there was not an option for eating them? :)

    I would say baking them.

    I love your site!

  38. Baking them ‘cos you get to sample as you go!

  39. definitely making them look pretty!

  40. I’m definitely a make them look pretty girl. I do love baking and candy-making, and IMHO having something taste good is the more important of the two. But I love the decorating. These are very cute. Your friend Julie is outrageous! (I mean that in a good way.) I’d love to win the gift voucher. Bake It Pretty has SO many cool baking supplies. Thanks for a chance at the giveaway.

  41. Baking the sweets is #1 for me!
Mmmmm, I love, love, love sweets!

  42. baking them. or eating them!!!

  43. making them look pretty! but… i love baking them too! so its a toss up. so ill go with both. :)

  44. I prefer the decorating to the baking, as I mess that part up too much. lol

  45. May I choose both? Love making them & love decorating them too!

  46. These are adorable!

  47. Darling idea! Thank you for sharing it.

  48. If I had these cute little candy buttons, making sweets look pretty would be easy! These are so much fun, thank you for the link to the tutorial.

  49. I LOVE LOVE LOVE making my desserts look pretty. Sometimes I think I go overboard but oh well, no one has complained so far.

  50. I love to make cute things, but then I can’t bring myself to eat them! So my solution is to let my boys go willi-nilli, while I cringe at the “pretty” results – and feel lucky to eat the goodies we make taste great together!

  51. definately making them pretty!! I only bake when I can do something fun with it.

  52. I’m definitely on the BAKING side of that argument! :)

  53. I like baking sweets and making them to cute to eat!

  54. I like to bake them because I am no good at decorating! so, that gift card would come in handy! :)

  55. i love and enjoy both baking sweets or making them look pretty…

    hope 2 be like u one day… i really pray 4 that!!!

  56. i would definitely love to make these buttons and AFTER that, use them as decoration or just as gifts for those with sweet tooth or teeth!

  57. I love the reactions of people when you have made special cupcakes, so I think i prefert to make it pretty
Loved the hamburger muffins and so did my husband when I made them for his birthday, he didn’t want a cake so I surprised him with these fitted perfectly with the BBQ we did, my sister in law asked me to make them for my niece to hand out in school, it was a great succes so thank you for that

  58. making them look cute! absolutely!
i mean baking is wonderful, the licking of the spoon and all! BUT, its the decorating and embellishing that i LOVE!
I would love to win this! :)

  59. Me Me ME!!! I need more baking supplies!!

  60. That’s so mean! That’s like asking which child I favor. I love the process of baking and the smells and textures; I love the creativity of decorating, choosing colors and liners, even cake stands. Can I just take the fifth?

  61. I mostly like eating them. if I make it, I prefer making them pretty before I eat them…
    these buttons are amazing!

  62. Well, I love baking sweets. I love to decorate them, too, but I’m no good at it. So I’d just say I love baking them and eating them afterwards. :)

  63. i like making them more.. i’m not so great at the decorating part

  64. If you get the recipe for the cookies, please share! Those cookies are adorable!

  65. Of course, baking them and then making them look pretty. Love to hear the ‘awes’ and ‘ooohs’.

  66. I am all about the baking…it makes the house smell so yummy!! :)
But, of course, making them pretty makes them taste even better!

  67. I like….baking sweets! no, making them pretty! no…I can’t choose! BOTH! I like baking them, making them pretty, then eating them all!

  68. ooh this is rough! but really, why choose one when you can have both? :)

  69. wow. baking them or making them pretty… hmmm… thats a tough one! ok fine i will be superficial and say making them pretty :D its so much fun adding that last bit of sprinkle or sparkly frosting for the final touch… :)

  70. prettyprettypretty :) but to be honest: 2009 was the 1st year like that. before i was so fond of baking, well, nice, when it looked nice, but … not SO important (it was more the traditional christmas-cookie-thing…). now, that i started to decorate sugarcookies, they MUST be pretty ;) baking is obligatory, decorating is freestyle :)

  71. These are so adorable! Kind of random, but super cute!

  72. The baking is fun but for me the real fun begins with the decorating. That’s the art, the uniqueness, the challenge.

  73. Making them look pretty, because the options are endless and my imagination goes crazy!

  74. These are totally cute! My favorite is the baking part – I haven’t got the cute part down yet, but I just keep trying! I so love your blog!

  75. both… i like making them and making them look pretty… and then giving them away… lol.

  76. I’m in the baking camp. I’m trying to improve my presentation skills, but sometimes I just like to stick with what I’m already good at.

  77. ooh.. that’s hard. Both are fun… but I think I like making them pretty just a teensy bit more :D

  78. oooh, that’s a tricky one! I like the idea of making them look pretty the most – it’s just achieving that goal which constantly evades me!!! What a lovely post – I’m baking for a baby shower this week, plenty of inspiration here! xx

  79. Making sweets! I would love to learn how to make them pretty, but I am not too good at that yet :)

  80. Its really hard to decide, but i think i like making them look pretty more..my friend Patrice and i always bake together. Her recipes and my patience for decorating bring out some really pretty designs :)

  81. I love love love baking sweets, and have ever since I was a little girl. I am still trying to get a hang of the “making them look pretty part.” :/ My mom and grandma used to decorate cakes professionally, and I’m trying my best to learn!

  82. I like baking them most, and trying to make them pretty second. Maybe once I get better at making them pretty I’ll prefer that :).

  83. Mmmm I think making them, no I think making them look pretty, no maybe eating them!!!!

  84. I’d have to say I prefer making them look pretty…but my favorite would have to be eating them!

  85. I love baking yummy things more I think, though then I like to make them look pretty (if there is anything left!)

  86. I hope you can get the recipe for the ‘onesie sugar cookies’ that Julie made – they look delicious.

  87. Baking is the best part for me, just because it’s so fun to see so many ingredients all become one in the end!

  88. Since I’m still learning to decorate I’m going to have to go with bake it sweet! But only until I get better…

  89. Decorting for sure!!!

  90. These are so cute! I could use this for my sisters baby shower.

  91. I love decorating the goods. Making a pretty treat to share with friends and coworkers is so satisfying.

  92. I love trying to learn to make things look pretty…it makes giving them as gifts and eating them so much more fun.

  93. Right now I just enjoy making them. The reasoning is because I’m not so great at making them pretty, yet. One of my goals this year is to take some cake and cookie decorating classes so I can make pretty things for those in my life that I appreciate.

  94. I love all of this inspiration from you! So cute!

  95. I would have to say baking because as hard as I try to make them pretty… they certainly do not turn out pretty :(

  96. I enjoy baking sweets more than making them look pretty because I tend to destroy things instead of making them look pretty!

  97. Making them pretty! Although I hate to eat them afterwards.. but of course I always do. (:

  98. Making it pretty so that everyone goes ooohhh…..pretty.

  99. definitely making it pretty…they taste soooo much better when they look good too!!

  100. Wish I would have seen these adorable buttons before I did my last baby shower cake…they would have been perfect with the quilted fondant!

  101. Unbelievably adorable! I can think of so may ways to use these. Thanks for sharing and for the generous bog candy. Kay

  102. Making sweets look pretty because even if they don’t taste good, people will still be wowed! ;)

  103. I just love baking! That’s where it all starts and even though I like decorating, baking is my FAVE!

  104. Unfortunately I’m not very good at decorating :( but I do love baking- yes I do :D

  105. Amazing.

I love “Bake it pretty”, they have such cute things…

  106. Baking…and Eating :)
I’m not so hot with the pretty part yet…

  107. I love making pretty sweets. Specially for my kids!

  108. OMG – LOVE the onesie cookies! Please do share where to find that cookie cutter! I am not as steady with the icing bag as I’d like just yet, so I’d say I’m better at making yummy things than I am at decorating them. BTW, i find it totally UNREAL the number of comments you get on your blog! Wow – I can only dream of such success. Congrats, and keep blogging – I *eat* it up (yeah, totally corny pun)

  109. Hmm. I’m gonna go with the baking, since a pretty thing with no taste is a disappointment but a delicious less-pretty one never is. Best to have both though ;)

  110. I LOVE BOTH !!!!! I bake & decorate with my nieces. We have so much fun together : ) They LOVE looking at your site with me and they want to make EVERYTHING lol : ) Baking & Dercorating brings so much JOY to my life : ) I dont what I’d do with out it hahaha.

  111. Def the baking part. The pretty is just the icing on the cake! :) I love for it to taste good. Otherwise whats the point?

  112. I love baking! There’s something about taking simple, everyday ingredients and making them into something truly delicious.

  113. Making them look pretty! :) and licking the spoons…..LOL

  114. Definitely baking sweets. I still don’t have the skills to make things pretty like you do! At least food is food and it still tastes delicious even if it looks ugly. :)

  115. I definitely like making them pretty. :)

  116. I just helped host a baby shower and a friend used baked goods as party favors. Definitely want to try this out.

  117. Definetly making them look pretty… I love making a mess and figuring out how to re-purpose candy to look like something else. Those sugar cookies are ADORABLE!

  118. I definitely love baking sweets. I have no patience (or skill!) for decorating, but I hope to learn some day.

  119. I love to make all of my goodies look as pretty as possible without compromising deliciousness! It is always a great feeling when someone compliments your treats as tasting as good as they look.

  120. They are just adorable! This gives me ideas for my friends baby shower. The onesies are too cute!

    Definitely enjoy making things pretty!

  121. I love to bake them. WIsh I was better at making them pretty, but I’m working on that!

  122. Definitely making them pretty…but sometimes I act like a crazy person in the process. Bake it Pretty could help, I’m sure!

  123. Definitely baking them. I’m still working on mastering that aspect of it, so the prettifying will just have to come later…

  124. i love baking.. it’s kinda hard to make them look pretty (for me anyways! LOL) coz I’m so busy with my 2 kids. But If I had the extra time, I would definitely try to make my baked goods look pretty as well.

  125. I like making them pretty best, I love to give people gifts, especially the homemade variety!

  126. Found your site recently from Prudent Baby and I love it!! I definitely like making things pretty, it’s why I love your site so much, everything is gorgeous. Thanks for the chance to win, can’t wait to try out some of your creations!

  127. Definitely baking. I love when baked goods look cute, but I don’t always have the patience to follow thru. (Who am I kidding? My favorite part is really eating the sweets!)

  128. I love doing both things, actually(:
But the thing i love most is baking with spelt, because I can end up having gluten allergy(:

  129. I much prefer baking sweets. I’m not too good at making it look pretty!

    Katie xox

  130. Is it cheating if I say both? Haha. If I had to choose, I’d probably go with baking them. I’ve had far too many perfectly decorated goods that tasted terrible… thus taste trumps frills any day! Although making them presentable sure doesn’t hurt! ;)

  131. making them cute…but really my favorite is eating them!

  132. I enjoy baking sweets more than making them look pretty. Baking is almost therapeutic to me, but making them look pretty makes me stressed! :)

  133. Baking–only because I stink at making them pretty!

  134. Baking them. If they don’t taste good, it doesn’t matter how pretty they are. (Kind of like fondant on a cake — might look good, but not very tasty — so what’s the point if it’s not yummy?)

    Thanks for the giveaway opportunity!

  135. I like baking them… Sadly I hardly ever have time to decorate!

  136. Making things look pretty is more fun for me! I’m still learning, but sites like yours give me great new ideas.

  137. oops!!! accidently posted twice cuz I thought the first one deleated!

  138. I love Love LOVE, making things pretty! But they also have to taste good =)

  139. How does one choose? I love both!!! But decorating does help appreciate your creation a little more!!!!

  140. Tough choice, but I’d have to say making them pretty!

  141. OH how wonderful! Love the little buttons! I think making them look pretty! That is is fun part!

  142. It is definitely a cross between the two. Treats should always be delicious, but for something reason they taste even more delicious when they’re beautiful!

  143. Baking for sure! Putting in all the ingredients and watching as it all comes together always makes me happy! Bliss is when I’m creating some tasty baked goods. As for beautifying it…that’s just a bonus. And really it all tastes the same no matter how it looks. :D

  144. I love both!! I love trying new recipes and since I’m not very talented at artsy stuff yet, I love learning and attempting to make those sweets I bake look just as good as they taste. It’s so much fun for me! I feel like I’m in my own little world :)

  145. I enjoy quality ingredients and making the best possible tasting cupcake ever. And usually when that happens, they end up looking pretty darn good too!!!

  146. I bake because I like to feed people good food! Ihat’s hard to choose. I mean whats something pretty if it doesn’t taste good right? But then again.. no matter how good something is, no one would want to eat it if it looks inedible. I guess I’ll have to pick making it all pretty~! I’m pretty good with my hands and I love that I can just be creative~

  147. Cute candy buttons! I’m a huge fan of baking sweets and I usually end up eating them before I can do anything special to them! : )

  148. I can’t bake well or make things pretty but I do like to eat pretty baked goodies! love your blog:)

  149. I can’t decide! I love the baking part as much as the decorating, to me they just go together, its part of the process!

  150. Mmmmm. Baking. Let the taste speak for its self!

  151. Making them look pretty!!

  152. Mmmmmm…warm chocolate chip cookies or cupcakes fresh out of the oven! Baking is heavenly, but making them look pretty is an creative art I love!

  153. I prefer EATING the sweets over baking them or making them look pretty.

  154. Baking, closely followed by eating:)

  155. Definitely decorating, the possibilities are endless!!

  156. ohhh definitely making them look pretty. i make them look all nice and then i eat them all up!!! ;]

  157. I prefer the baking part – almost relaxing, in a way. I try not to get too fussy with decorating as I’m far from perfect at it!

  158. I think I flip flop back and forth between the two. It really depends who I am making it for and how much time I have. If I am making something for my daughters, sister, or moms I would say making it pretty is my favorite because I know they will appreciate it which makes it more fun to do.

  159. that’s a tough one! i like to bake the stuff, but i won’t it to look pretty too! so i’d say it is a 50-50 deal! :*)

and those little buttons are too stinkin’ cute!

  160. I love to make my treats look pretty! (I wish I was as talented as you though!) I love when people look at things I made and oohh and aahhh. I would die for this gift card!

  161. I gotta say making the sweets! I love how everything comes together like magic! I always freak out in the beginning thinking that I messed something up. And laugh if I do. But when I don’t mess up, the aroma and the taste make it all worth it. Making it pretty is just an added bonus. But really it all tastes the same pretty or not :D

  162. Definitely making them look pretty!! Oh and then eating them of course :)

  163. Baking is not my best part, but I think I love making them look pretty, because what good is it if they look dull? :]

  164. My favorite is making them. :D i love trying out new recipes and making the things that my mother made in the past. It always makes me nostalgic. :) But I’ve just recently gotten into decorating and am loving it, but it’s gonna take a lot of work to make it better!

  165. I love to bake, but they are so much more special when they are pretty. Pretty really does it for me.

  166. I WISH I was the “make it look pretty” type, but I end up losing my patience because I just want to get to the eating part of it;)

Baking is what makes me feel all warm and gooey inside!

  167. i love making things pretty… but my bf cares more that it tastes good!! so if im making him cookies or something for valentines, altho i will try to make it pretty – more importantly, im gonna make it delicious!

  168. I love doing both! but Im really bad at making things pretty so i suppose baking! haha i love love looking at prettily baked goods though

  169. I would rather make it pretty.

  170. I love baking the sweets more than making them look pretty

  171. Definitely enjoy making the goodies look pretty. You get to add the finishing touches! Although, I do admit.. sometimes pretty can be frustrating.

  172. Oh it’s so hard to choose. I love to make them look pretty best, but I’m not that good at it. Hopefully I can improve. I sure do love to eat what I bake though :)

  173. I love both! I love trying to see how I can reinvent something or just make it look more “me”. I have also been known to have my husband construct things just to show off my goodies (and by goodies, I mean baked goods!!!).
Beautiful buttons and wonderful presentation. Yea Julie!!!

  174. baking (well eating sweets but baking is a close second!)

  175. I love to bake the sweets…I’m not very good at making them pretty. My hands are too clumsy! I’ve perfected that sloppy homemade look though :)

  176. I’d say I enjoy them equally but I’m definitely better at making things taste good! I call most of my creations “rustic-looking” :) Thanks for the giveaway!

  177. I would say baking. There’s nothing like baking something and giving it away to family and friends. It’s just that feeling you get.

  178. Depends on what I’m making– if there’s intricate icing involved, probably the baking part. I am hopeless in this department, I think, but cute stuff like these buttons might be what I’m looking for to make up for my awful technique!

  179. I love baking them, and my boyfriend loves eating them! After getting all the batches mixed, baked, cooled, and then kitchen cleanup, I don’t usually have much energy left for fancy decorations. Unless my potentially-future-mother-in-law is coming over, then I find my second wind and make them gorgeous :D

  180. Tough question but I’ll have to say making them pretty. Most of the time though, I’m just too tired from baking and eat whatever it was I made before I try to decorate it :) .

  181. I love baking sweets and am working on the making them pretty part. I like eating pretty sweets a whole lot.

  182. Definitely BAKING! I am not even good at that!

  183. I’m torn. I love baking them ( and tasting them).. but then the artist in my soul loves the prettying part as well. ..

but I definitely don’t love the cleaning up part..

  184. That’s a hard one. I love to bake them & decorate the, but if I had to chose one it would be baking them:)

  185. Making them pretty ‘cuz I’m always giving my baked goods away!

  186. If it looks adorable, cute, fabulous (like all your stuff) then it’s quite easy to forgive if the taste just isn’t great. For me, it’s all in the presentation!

  187. I like baking them the most! I am always too excited to eat before I can wait to decorate.

  188. I love them both, but of course i love making them look pretty. :)

  189. I love both too. People say I worry too much about the pretty part and taste is what’s important, but obviously, looks count.

  190. I love to try to make them look prettty but that is not always the case. My family still eats all the sweets no matter how they look.
I’m going to try cake pops again !!!

  191. I love baking sweets and I’m much better at that than at making them look pretty, but I wish I could do that better.

  192. Eating sweets is always delicious but they taste even better when they’re pretty!

  193. I don’t think I can pick one…I love baking sweets & making them look pretty…or at least, as pretty as I am able to! :)

  194. I love baking sweets!! The look on a person’s face when they taste how delicious it is, makes it all worthwhile.

  195. Making them pretty!… It’s like yummy arts & crafts :)

  196. baking sweets more (because I stink at making them look pretty) ;(

  197. I love baking and having that wonderful smell in the house! I love the cuteness of baked goods, but can never make it as cute as others.

  198. I love prettifyingthings! As much satisfaction as I get from whipping up the perfect cake, I’ll default to Betty Crocker if it gives me more time for sprinkles…

  199. Definitely baking them..only because by the time I’ve made them, I’m either not patient enough to let them cool to decorate, or I’m bored with the project and am on to something else.*LOL*
That said, I looove the look of decorated goodies!
