This post doesn’t involve baking from this weekend
but there’s something pretty sweet at the end I think you’ll like.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Okay, so I’ve been out of town for the last two weekends. First, Chicago for the Home and Housewares Show…
and last weekend somewhere a little bit warmer.
I was in sunny Florida for a weekend conference full of learning and sharing with friends – and a bunch of food and fun thrown in.
Food Blog Forum Orlando. Put on by Jaden Hair of Steamy Kitchen, Todd & Diane of White On Rice Couple, Julie Deily of The Little Kitchen and Dawn Viola.
And sponsored by Disney, Kitchenaid, OXO, Land O’ Lakes, Whole Foods, Le Creuset and more.
The meeting was held at Walt Disney World and it was amazing. So well done. Julie from the Little Kitchen knows how to put together a great event. I was there with a bunch of great speakers. (See the whole group here) Alison Lewis (Ingredients, Inc.) and I spoke at round table discussions on writing a cookbook. I really enjoyed the round table set up because we were able to talk one-on-one with people and that’s much more my speed. I don’t think I’d be very good at getting up in front of a big room of people and talking. There would be a lot of umms and likes and pauses I’m sure.
On the evening before the meeting, we had a beautiful outdoor reception at the Grand Floridian. My sweet friend Jenny (Picky Palate) and I met some great girls. Nikki (Pennies on a Platter), Krissy (Krissy’s Creations), Julie (Table for Two) and Rachel (The Fabulous Foodie). Hi girls. Thanks for making Magic Kingdom such a blast!
We hit up a few rides and went on a search for Dole Whip and churros before the park closed. It was my first time trying either. So yum! Thanks for sharing these phone pics girls.
We spent all day Saturday at Epcot where the meeting was held.
It was definitely a special place to have a meeting. Not only were there great speakers, yummy treats, amazing prizes, like stand mixers and refrigerators, Le creusets and more but when we were done, we had a huge world to explore.
If only I could have seen it all. I’ve never been to Epcot. I had no idea how ginormous this park was. Actually, I still don’t know how big it is. But that’s okay because what I did see was perfect.
We had an incredible lunch extravaganza prepared by Disney chefs from the parks and hotels.
I focused on dessert of course.
Lunch gave us all more time to talk.
Here’s Lauren’s Latest, Julie, Krissy and Jenny.
And I finally finally met Elise from Simply Recipes. Yay! Hope we can chat more next time.
Alison and Jenny. Love you guys.
And sweet, sweet Julie. Again, great job on pulling this event together.
On Sunday we had a brunch hosted by Whole Foods. Incredible food means the cameras come out.
See what I mean. That’s Dawn in the back, Julie and Jenny, and then Lindsey (Love and Olive Oil) in the front.
This might be one of my favorite pics from the weekend. It just makes me giggle at how we all do the same thing as bloggers. It’s almost uncontrollable when you have a camera in your hand.
But in our defense, the flowers were pretty cheery.
I enjoyed this weekend so much.
Hi Emily (Sage Recipes) and Kiran (Kirantarun)! It was nice meeting you both. Hope to see you again. And you too Droolius and Simply Southern Baking.
Thanks for a weekend of great memories with old friends and new!

So now the fun part.
I’m having an amazing giveaway today.
If you read last week’s post, you may remember some of the new products I talked about from the Home and Housewares Show in Chicago. One of them was this Kitchenaid mixer in Crystal Blue, the brand new color from the Catalina Collection that I fell in love with.
Well, I met some of the folks from Kitchenaid in Chicago for the first time and and then coincidentally, we met again in Orlando the very next weekend as they were one of the sponsors of Food Blog Forum. It was a surprise to see them two weeks in a row. We talked about how much I loved the brand new color they debuted in Chicago and we thought it would be a fun giveaway here on bakerella.com.
Want to brighten up your kitchen and be one of the first people to own a mixer in this brand new, bright blue color courtesy of Kitchenaid? I know I would. It’s such a happy color. And much more vibrant in person.
Enter for a chance to win this Crystal Blue 5-quart Artisan Stand Mixer from Kitchenaid!
- Just leave a comment on this post here on the website and answer the following question.
- If you could only eat one kind of sweet/dessert for the rest of your life, what would choose? And not just cookie or cupcake, etc. – but what kind if you can? I’m very curious.
- Deadline to enter is Wednesday, March 28th at 5 pm ET.
SORRY, TIME’S UP! Winner Announced Below.
- One winner will be chosen at random and announced sometime Wednesday evening.
GOOD LUCK GUYS!
oh and FYI – the Crystal Blue color should be available for purchase starting sometime in April.
Reading all of your sweet choices are driving me crazy. I have cravings now for way too many treats.
I don’t know if I could pick just one either. But warm brownies and ice cream are always a safe bet for me. No nuts. No whipped cream. No syrup. Plain and simple chocolate and vanilla. Warm and cold deliciousness.
Okay, ready for the winner?
It’s comment #6224 – Leann
Congratulations and enjoy your bright blue baby. Hope you make lots of amazing desserts and smile every time you look at it.
And big thanks to Kitchenaid for supplying the mixer in this beautiful blue.
It’s very hard to chose but it would probably be Mexican wedding cookies also known as Bizcochos.
My favorite dessert is a 3 leches cake with pineapple fiiling from a bakery in Mexico where I grew up. I’ve tried similar cakes here in the States but they are not as good.
Ganache and salted caramel topped cookie bars!! Love the new blue Kitchenaid mixer, it will be a cheerful focal point in anyones kitchen!
Blue is my favorite color so I hope I am the winner. Now, to answer your question – The sweet treat I could eat for the rest of my life is creamy fudge with walnuts in it and made with marshmellow creme. Oh, death by chocolate!!!
I’d have to go for chewy chocolate chip cookies. No matter how many fancy desserts I try, the tried and true remains my favorite!
I would eat homemade oatmeal cream pies (move over Lil’ Deb) like it was my J O B.
Thanks!
Chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate. Any kind, every kind. But if I had to pick one, it would be warm dark chocolate chunck brownies.
Can never go wrong with a chocolate chip cookie
My favorite dessert is ice cream, but not just any ice cream. It has to be the rich creamy kind like Ben and Jerry’s. My favorite is Chunky Monkey. I NEVER get tired of it!
Hands down – a maple bar donut!!! The perfect, sweet dessert!!
At this moment I would most def.choose Macarons! :) I’ve been obsessed with buying them, making them, trying new flavors. But to be exact, it would be Green Tea Macarons or Coffee Macarons :) MMMMMmmmmmmm, I wanna eat some now.
I’d have to say chocolate chip cookie with macadamia nuts, chewy, soft deliciousness!!
Cinnamon rolls. A nice warm gooey, homemade, fresh out of the oven cinnamon roll.
Thanks for such a fun giveaway!
At first I thought turtle cheesecake from a restaurant in RI which I LOVE but then if it was the ONLY dessert I might get sick of it since it’s so rich. So now I think an eclair from that same restaurant (Gregg’s) in RI – it’s puff pastry is so light & fluffy with yummy cream in the center & just the right amount of chocolate on top. Perfect.
Peanutbutter Pie with chocolate fudge topping ……..mummmm want to make one right now!
Definitely a good old traditional chocolate chip cookie. Nice and gooey and I already eat them on a daily basis anyway :]
OMG…so many too choose from!
Maybe white chocolate macadamia cookies….I can’t get enough of those! YUM!
cheeesecakee!
I would have to say either Peppermint Fudge ice cream (I’ve only found it at a local ice cream shop where I live), or good old-fashioned dark chocolate. =)
I would have to choose a dark chocolate covered chocolate cake pop. Absolute favorite thing on the planet. Its perfection, the perfect portion and so satisfying.
Hard to choose. But, I think I’ll go with chocolate chip cookies because there are so many variations that I could make and I would never get bored :)
It would have to be the candy that my grandma makes only at Christmas. Two chocolate peanut layers with a cherry chip layer in the middle.
Cheesecake …. I love cheesecake!
Oddly enough, we just talked about this question on a forum I participate in. I said chocolate cake with white icing!
I’d have to say tiramisu. It’s the dessert that I don’t have often but when I do, it’s a party in my mouth.
Creme brulee! Glad to see you had a fantastic time, I know you had a rough time last year and its good to see you living it up!
If I could eat just one type of dessert it would be plain New York Style Cheesecake, now fruit dressing, no whip cream, just plain.
I love most ice creams, but absolutely adore mint chocolate chip. Oh, I wish I had some in the freezer right now!
Cheesecake and Key Lime Pie those are my favorites! Let’s just combine the two… I could live with that!
All kinds of fancy and delicious deserts went through my mind but I kept coming back to Reese’s peanut butter cups. Simple but addicting.
My favorite dessert is probably a hybrid recipe of the spiced oatmeal cookie from the Milk and Cookies Bakery cookbook and the vanishing Oatmeal Raisin cookie under the lid of the Quaker Oats container. Leave out the raisins, use fresh ginger, and they’re like a hybrid between gingerbread and an oatmeal cookie. Yum! Sign me up.
Chocolate chip cookies. There are so many ways to make them just a tiny bit different – but even if you can’t change a thing, dessert just doesn’t get much better!
Definitely vanilla soft serve ice cream or frozen yogurt!!!!
Something simple and delicious – shortbread cookies. Yum!
If I could only eat one dessert for the rest of my life it would be my mom’s strawberry pie…..OMG divine. Regular pie crust, cream cheese mixture, fresh Louisiana strawberries mixed with something (I never have figured this part out) and topped with lots and lots of cool whip. MMMmmmmmmmm!
I would choose caramel pudding!!!!
I’ve almost worn out my sturdy white Kitchenaid….a new blue one would look so nice sitting on my counter!! I could make my favourite dessert from my Mom’s old recipes….No Bake Cake with lady fingers and 3 different layers of yummieness. Not so great for the waistline but I could eat it over and over…and maybe share as well!!!
Ooooh, that’s a hard question. The first thing I thought of was Butterscotch Ripple Cake, but I think I’d actually go with something like brownies, chocolate chip cookies, or no-bake cookies, since they’re a pretty classic favorite :D Thanks for the chance to win! and I’m glad you had a fun trip!
jajohnsonfam.blogspot.com
Lemon cake with Raspberries! I love how light and fluffy it takes, and that bit of tart! It was easy picking a wedding cake!
I would eat a cinnamon oatmeal cookie full of cinnamon chips and peanut butter chips, just hot out of the oven, coated with Farr’s Ice Cream (from Idaho) vanilla bean flavor, the topped with whipping cream, hot fudge, and caramel!!! AHHH! Heaven!!!
If I could eat any dessert for the rest of my life it has to be that banana cream cheese cupcake I had the other night! Delicious!
the paradise pie from chili’s. Its half brownie, half cookie with ice cream on top. Its a little bit of everything, warm, cold, chewy and crunchy! :-)
My favorite dessert is my grandmother’s raisin square! It’s just raisin perfection between homemade pie crusts!
I’ve yet to attempt to make it myself, I think it will be a weekend adventure one of these days! :)
The one dessert I would eat forever and ever would be tiramisu. Oh my goodness, deliciousness. My mother made some when I was little with her little hand mixer, and I remember watching her make a delicious heaven dessert. PERFECTION. That stand mixer is beautiful! I could make dozens of tiramisus with that… (;
Chocolate chip cookies!
there is a chocolate cake that has been passed down through the women in our family that would be my first and only pick. My Great-Grandma Bea found it she passed it on to my Grandma Barbara to my mom Linda and now to me… no little rug rats to continue the tradition yet… It’s a chocolate cake that is made with the normal baking soda in the flour but the last ingredient is vinegar. As you can imagine it has the reaction … but it’s the moistest airiest cake and it’s marvelous with any frosting I love putting a dab of whipped cream on it and chowing down. Hummm I think I need to go make a chocolate cake now.
Awesome giveway! If I had to choose one dessert to eat for the rest of my life it would be my mom’s bread pudding. It’s the most amazing bread pudding, especially because she’s never made it the same way twice. She loves tweaking the recipe (one time she used cranberries instead of raisins – YUM!). Actually, any of my mom’s desserts would be great to eat for the rest of my life. :)
Omg! How to choose just one?! But if I had to choose I think I would have to go with peanut butter blossoms. It covers both my favorite flavors, peanut butter and chocolate!
S’mores for sure!
If I had to choose just one, it would be the peanut butter bon bons my Grandma used to make!!
As much as I love the oreo truffles, dipped in white chocolate…I must say that a good ole warm, chocolate fudge brownie with vanilla ice cream on top, drizzled with caramel sauce is always a winner for me =)
tiramisu. always.
I have a personal goal to find the best tiramisu in my home state. It can be too mushy or to dry. You would think it would be so easy…
Home made leche flan by my aunt in Bulacan, Philippines
Chocolate Reese’s Peanut Butter chip cupcake with peanut butter butter cream frosting from Big Man Bakes…..just the right balance of chocolate and peanut butter and the frosting is creamy and delicious
I would choose boysenberry pie if I had to choose one dessert to have to eat for the rest of my life.
I love anything CHOCOLATE. Anykind of ewey gooey chocolate cake, chocolate frosting. whoooo and as stand by, warm chocolate chip cookies will do until the cake is done.
This is a tough one. Probably just a chocolate chip cookie, from the Alton Brown “The Chewy” recipe. I think that anything more complicated would get old.
My favorite dessert will always be “Brownie à la Mode”. After every meal I just think “If I just could make brownies as easy as I make coffee, I would probably be the happiest person in the world”. I love chocolate and if combined with ice cream…. better.
I love smores… real smores, cupcake smores, cookie smores, Sunday smores… anything with chocolate, marshmallow and Graham crackers… Yummy
I think i even started camping just so i would have a reason to eat smores more often :)
Call me old fashioned, but I just LOVE a Banana Split! So maybe it’s cheating since there are several different “sweets” involved but, the combination just can’t be beat!
Paula Deen’s Gooey-Butter cake. I honestly wanted to cry the first time I had this, it was so good. Deliciously mindblowing!
anything chocolate for sure :) but to narrow if down it wuld be a triple chocolate cake :D
so amazing..love reading your blog as well…
Cookies n’ cream ice cream! Never gets old for me!
I love reading your blog! I could certainly use one of those, maybe I could be as daring (and successful) as you one day =)
If I had to eat just one dessert for the rest of my life, I’d probably choose funfetti cake with vanilla ice cream. I love both cake and ice cream too much to choose just one, so at least this way I’d get both!
A bowl of chocolate buttercream frosting and a spoon! I love tons of sweets/desserts, but a couple sinful spoonfuls of choc. buttercream just can’t be beat :)
Favorite dessert of all time is Swedish Tea cookies! (Or Russia Tea Cakes, English Butterballs) I guess all nations claim these!
I think I’d have to go with s’mores. Or maybe brownies…
Thick, chewy chocolate chip cookies with ice cold milk!
Pig pickin’ cake! Always, and forever. Pure deliciousness.
My new favorite– apple muffins! Just the right amount of sweetness with the sour Granny Smith apples to temper it, and the super moistness of the apple juices…. Love them!
Oreo truffles. They’re especially good chilled, waiting to be dipped into cake pops, but you eat them all before you get to dip them.
Ooooh how fun! I’d go with old fashioned New York style cheesecake, with no toppings! Yummmmmmy!
Hands down it’s chocolate chip cookies (preferably a little on the soft and chewy side). They are by far my favourite and I could easily have them every day!
A rich lemon cake – sort of like Cheesecake Factory’s Lemoncello Creme Torte.
an ewey gooey chocolate brownie :)
definitely chocolate cheesecake!
Cheesecake with blackberries or chocolate, but not together of course.
Really? Just one?! :) If I had to pick one sweet to have for the rest of my life, it would be chocolate creme brulee.
Molten lava cake, chocolate souffle, whatever they want to call it. Delicious moist cake with hot rich molten chocolatey goodness inside.
I could spend the rest of my life eating lemon bars from Sweetly Divine, an amazing pastry shop located in Logan, Utah. They make the world’s best lemon bar. It is the perfect combination of sweet and tart. No powdered sugar on top. The sweet coming from the shortbread crust, the tart from the perfect amount of lemon. If food could provide an out of body experience, these would the trick!!!
If I could eat just one dessert for the rest of my life it would have to be a light and fluffy chocolate cupcake with chocolate swiss meringue buttercream frosting on top…..excuse me while I wipe the drool off of my keyboard!
A dark and dirty, deeply rich and moist, slice of chocolate cake…garnished with a plump little portion of green tea Mochi ice cream!
If I could only have one type of dessert it would have to be chocolate chip cookies!
This is so hard because there are so many kinds of desserts! I would say the long standing favorite would be snickerdoodles though. If I didn’t have to make it to eat this one dessert for the rest of my life though, it would probably be a really good dense cheesecake with raspberry drizzle.
I would say Heath bars, or anything toffee related really. I made the toffee cookies you posted and they were amazing!! I have Heath bars stashed all over my house!!
I would make new York cheesecake topped with fresh boysenberries and a graham cracker crust. The ultimate dessert, in my humble opinion. Side note: I asked my oldest daughter, 5, what her answer would be. “Cotton candy”, she says. Oh kids!!! :)
oh my just one thing…. i would choose these yummy cookies i make with toasted almond slivers, heath bar pieces and chocolate covered coffee beans in them. they are SO good. thanks for another great giveaway!
I believe I would have to choose Jilbert’s Peanut Butter Mackinac Island Fudge ice cream. Local dairy, local island (Mackinac), and really great ice cream. :)
Ooh! Good question!!! After some thought I would have chocolate cake with fudgey frosting, and a peanut butter frosting in the middle.
homemade oatmeal chocolate chips with the secret family recipe!
Umm makes me turn beet root red when I say it, but I love condensed milk :( just as is straight out of the can. Crazy dessert but since childhood I have stolen spoonful of it while mom was baking it and till now mom of 2 I can eat finish the whole can as if I am eating an ice cream. I know I know don’t say it :)
Those new birthday cake cream Oreos! I’m in luuuurve!
If I had to choose one dessert to eat the rest of my life it would be PUDDING. Chocolate, vanilla, banana, lemon, etc. and you can add anything you want to make it fit your mood or craving!
It would definitely be dark chocolate covered espresso beans. It’s my all in one pick me up… Gives me that extra burst of energy to get me through the busy day with my twins and it’s so yummy in my tummy that it put’s a huge smile on my face! :)
If I could only eat ONE type of dessert for the rest of my life, I’d (without a doubt) scream VANILLA PANNA COTTA!! Man, I love that stuff..
How about some sort of Moose Tracks Cheesecake? Mmmm….
I’d pick my Mom’s chocolate swirl cheesecakes… it’s heaven on earth!
Such a hard choice!
I would have to go with… oh, man… brownies. Chewy brownies from the box. Betty Crocker. Straight up, no frosting. Yep. :)
only one? that’s tough!! okay well… it would have to be: moist, flavorful carrot cake with real cream cheese frosting.. (I want it to at least be ‘semi – healthy’!) thanks for the chance to win a Kitchenaid mixer! My mom would love this for Mothers Day!
Creme Brulee, everyday, all the way!!
Dulce de leche cheesecake.. Oh my yum!
I would eat brownies. Not just any brownies, it would have to be my friends famous carmel, pecan, gooey brownies! Thier my fav!
I love love red velvet cake pops! i could eat those forever!
Definitively brownies :D every day, with nuts, choco chips, milk, chocolate milk
Pecan pie!
I looooove sugar cookies with buttercream frosting. The cookies have to be perfectly soft and chewy in the middle (not just soft, but also chewy), and chewy but firm on the outsides. Also, the cookie has to have a nice vanilla richness, butteriness, and a tinge of saltiness to balance everything out. The buttercream has to be fluffy, white, creamy, a little salty, vanilla-y, and spread all the way to the edges. Also, the cookie must be huuuuuge.
My all time favorite dessert would have to be a fresh fruit tart. Not just any fruit tart, a tart with a sweetened cream cheese filling with a hint of lemon zest, a gingersnap crust, covered in fresh fuit and glazed with apricot jam!
Creme brulee cheesecake!
Key Lime Pie from Joe’s Stone Crab in Miami!
I would forever eat Buckeye candies. It’s the perfect combination of peanut butter and chocolate and they bring good family memories of when my family lived in Ohio before moving to Oklahoma.
Blueberry scones with vanilla glaze!!! Oh how I love thee!!!
It would be a meyer lemon ginger cheese cake. Love the color of the new mixer.
Brownies a la mode! Kind of 2 desserts, but it has one name. So that counts, right? It’s my absolute favorite!!!
Creme Brulee with fresh fruit.. Love it!!!
Chocolate cake , lots of chocolate frosting !! I could do that for life :)))
Buttermilk pie!
ooooohhhhhhhh sooooo preeeeetttty!!!! I love the color…I want it! hmmm, if I could eat just one dessert, that’s a hard one. Cake pops? Just kidding…I would have to go with the chocolate chip cookies. They are traditional and reliably delicious! I’ve been baking them a lot lately for my 4 daughters, but really I end up eating most of them :)
I would choose my mom’s chocolate cheesecake – it’s so delicious, my mouth is watering just thinking about it!
I could literally live on peanut butter surprise cookies (with the Reese’ cup in the middle), peanut butter in anything is the best!! Pull them out of the oven a little early so they are chewy, YUMM!!!
If I could only eat one treat for the rest of my life it would probably be strawberry shortcake with lots of whipped cream! Yumm!!
Red Velvet cake with cream cheese icing(the icing is very important). In any form! It’s just so delicious.
So, my first thought was Brown Butter Strawberry Banana Bread from Joy the Baker, but then I was reading the comments and a lot of them said cheesecake and that got me thinking about cheesecake and that banana bread may not count as dessert, so I guess my final answer is new york style cheesecake with cherries.
I would pick german chocolate cheesecake… it has so many layers it would be heaven. you have chocolate for the chocolate-ness all great desserts have, plus the coconuty sweet topping, and you have the richness of the cheesecake. perfection!
My favorite dessert is halo-halo a great filipino drink/dessert. Yummy!!!! It just reminds me of times when I was a kid. LOVE the color of the new Kirchen Aid BTW!
Very hard decision but I just tried a recipe for Biscoff cookie flavored cupcakes and they were to die for! These cookies alone are delectable, but the cupcakes…complete with a homemade Biscoff buttercream frosting are amazing!
Chocolate Chip Cookies! I could never get tired of them. Especially with frosting in between two of them lol
After mulling this over all day, I have to go with Cadbury chocolate–flake bars, mini eggs, dairy milk bars . . . so good in all its different forms!
Gotta say…vanilla buttercream, freshly made, straight outta the jar on a spoon!
what a beautiful color!!
i think i’d eat lemon bars for the rest of my life!! a lovely shortbread crust, tangy lemon curd with a light dusting of powdered sugar. yum yum!!!
peanut butter cookies….every single time:)
So hard to choose only one dessert or sweet!!!! However, if I had to eat only one dessert for the rest of my life, it would have to be vanilla bean creme brulee. I love how you get a wonderful crunch of the sugar on top along with creamy custard. It’s best when freshly made!!!
Chocolate peanut butter balls! My favorite combination of ingredients – chocolate and peanut butter.
I could probably eat either home-made milk chocolate chip cookies or Publix buttercream frosted cake for the rest of my life. Forget just for dessert, I could eat those for every meal!
My husband’s chocolate souffles. So. Good.
I would definitely go for brownies and vanilla ice cream. Add in Reese’s and I’m in heaven. Better yet coldstones sweet cream ice cream with brownies and Reese’s mixed in. :)
Lemon meringue pie with cool whip instead! Hubby brought me one when I gave birth to our daughter… We spent out 2nd anniversary at the hospital with pie! This year we will celebrate 15! Must be the pie!!!
My all time favorite dessert that I could eat every day for the rest of my life would have to be Brownie Pudding. Not pudding, not quite brownie, but pure deliciousness.
My all time favorite dessert was my grandmother’s chocolate pie. It had just the right amount of chocolate. Yum!
I’d have to pick cheesecake – there’s just so many delicious kinds! Chocolate or strawberry-topped or… YUM.
I would totally have to say dark chocolate covered strawberries!! WITH nuts!
Chocolate swirl cheesecake!
Gingerbread cookies! They are loved baked in and decorated in a million shapes – endless yum!!
Homemade chocolate chip cookies!! Or maybe Haagen Daz chocolate peanut butter ice cream… Hmmm. That’s tough! :)
I’m a simple girl. Give me warm yummy chocolate chip cookies and lots of cold milk. :)

i would have to say red velvet chessecake, they are both my favorites and its the best combo ever! :)
Easy. Warm Cherry Pie with ice cream….perfection!
Sansrival (pistachio flavor) it is, if I could only eat one dessert for the rest of my life. It has a wafer with picashio nuts taste. It has a mini cookie version called Silvana. :)
Just one? I’m thinking it would have to be rice crispy treats. So simple…and so yummy! :-)
cannollis! alllllll day
We were at Disney World a couple of weeks ago and I had a Strawberry Mousse Cheesecake at Tony’s Town Square. I could eat a lifetime of that!!
chewy chocolate chip cookies:)
I would pick a flourless chocolate torte. All the eggs mean I would still get some protein, so I could probably just live off of it forever!
What an amazing prize! I love love love that color. Mine would be red velvet cupcakes- with lots of cream cheese frosting!!
Since you said only ONE thing and I love many different kinds of sweets, I have to say chewy oatmeal cookies without raisins. (Although I made your red velvet cake pops last week to take to a party and they were FABULOUS!!–didn’t beat out oatmeal cookies though.)
Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

Cute Mickey mouse cookies!
Warm cinnamon rolls fore sure!
my mom’s cheesecake…best ever!
I make a double chocolate chip cookie that is amazing. I am a total chocoholic and these cookies are so rich and made with semisweet cookies. if I had to choose one dessert for the rest of my life it would be these. Totally satisfying.
I would have to say homemade (classic… No green food coloring! ) Key Lime Pie… I live in an area where it is cold and very snowy and in the winter its a great sunny pick me up and in warm weather its just plain great!
Definitely chocolate almonds. It’s my firm belief that chocolate and almonds were originally meant to grow on the same tree, but there was a mix-up in quality control. Any kind of chocolate and almond combination would do, but ideally it would be dark chocolate, not too too sweet, and whole almonds. The crunch gives me snacky satisfaction, while the chocolate… well, it’s chocolate. ’nuff said!
chocolate eclair cake!
I would pick rice krispy squares but only the ones my mom makes….she makes them the best!!! I can bake cakes and make many desserts but my rice krispy treats never turn out like hers ;)
YUM.. YUM.. YUM!! My all time favorite dessert is a Brownie with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream sliced cherries and chocolate sauce. Perfection!
Can anything beat pie? With endless varieties of apple to join the party, apple pie covers both tart and sweet and so many textures. Oh yes, apple pie.
Such a pretty mixer, I have been wanting one for so many years, and I bake like nuts! I would eat chocolate chip pumpkin cheesecake!
Probably mint chocolate chip ice cream! Ghirardelli to be exact!
Macarons are the best
That’s not an easy decision to make! BUT….if I have to….chocolate ice cream. Just a bowl of plain ol’ creamy chocolaty ice cream. I think I could eat that everyday for the rest of my life.
If I could only pick one..it would be yellow cake with chocolate frosting… preferably a layered cake with lots of thick frosting in the middle..yum…. :)
I can’t imagine only getting one sweet for ever… Thank goodness this is for “pretend”… But if I had to choose I would pick lemon meringue pie (with cool whip instead). Love this pie it has a special meaning for me! My husband brought one to me when I gave birth to our daughter… We celebrated our 2nd anniversary in the hospital eating pie!!! This year we will celebrate 15 years!! Must be the pie!!
I’ll forever love the classic white cake with chocolate icing, especially with the layers. I’ll make it everyday!
oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, warm from the oven, of course

Cake batter frozen yogurt :)
My favorite dessert are macarons! Sweet and simply delicious
My favorite desert is my mother in laws homemade banana cream pie. Made with all the love in the world!!! Makes it THAT much better!! =)
I guess if I was stuck with only one I would probably pick fresh baked chocolate chip cookies–so many memories associated with them!
I want this I want this, kitchen aid mixers are magic!!!!! I would pick chocolate chip cookies, ones that are really thin and crisp, it would be fantastic!
Creme Brulee – it’s just the ultimate!
Thanks for the opportunity to have a KitchenAid.
Cinnamon swirl donuts w/ maple frosting from the Cle Elum Bakery (WA)… oh yes.
If I could eat one dessert for the rest of my life I would eat chocolate chunk cookies. They are my favorite, with lots of chunks! And maybe occasionally add in some andes chips or peanutbutter chips! :)
i’m in LOVE with that mixer!!
but to answer the question, i happily choose my Ben&Jerry’s Half-Baked ice cream sundae. a yummy mix of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and fudge brownie chocolate ice cream, drizzled with chocolate fudge, surrounded with banana slices and topped with whipped cream and m&m’s.
(lol, no, i’m not pregnant)
Chocolate cheesecake!
I would have to pick lemon meringue pie, which I could so easily make in my new kitchen aid mixer!
Cuatro Chocolate cupcakes with chocolate cream cheese frosting! Yummy! (my own creation!)
Coffee ice cream!
I know I should say cake… but it would have to be good old ICE CREAM …Chocolate Vanilla, pretty much any flavor would do….
Cheesecake, always cheesecake!
