The last five book and kit signings were such a blast. When I started the book tour the end of last year I had no idea how much fun they would be and how much I would miss meeting you guys when they were all over. Thank you so much to everyone that came out to one of the 20+ signings. Along the way I have tried to get pictures of everyone that came by to say hi and also recap each city on the site. This time I combined the last several cities in one big giant post.

It was so great starting off the signings at Chronicle Books Headquarters in San Francisco. Say hi to Emily. She designed the kit and the notecards box sets. So so cute.
There’s nothing like watching the excitement on little ones faces when they look through the book. It’s still such a gift for me to see.

The last book signing was in Austin at Book People.
My friends Georgia Pellegrini, The Girl Hunter and Marla of Family Fresh Cooking came with me to the signing. Love you guys! We all had plans with several more bloggers the next day for a fun Girl Hunter Getaway hosted by Georgia. More on that soon.

I bought a rug for her new kitchen that she just remodeled. 6 months they cooked outside on a grill until it was finished- just 5 days ago. They are glad to be back inside, since they live in a town along the Northwest coastline.
I bought some cute magnets for the ladies that are due here for Christmas dinner. I have a sleigh on the table & we put little token gifts in there for each to pick out a gift. I do that instead of Christmas crackers that are full of rubbish. Last year in the sleigh I had a bunch of those key covers that were all cute shapes. Can’t do those again so had to find another cute thing like that. Still not sure what to get the men that are coming for dinner though.

The last gift I bought for someone was last month when I bought one of my best friends’ a set of Lady GaGa HeartBeat earbuds! They’re stylish, are of good quality, and best of all, noise canceling! She’s applying for law school right now, so I know she has a lot of studying ahead of her and I thought that the earbuds would be a perfect present so she can block out the rest of the world, but still listen to her favorite tunes while studying. :)
I bought some gifts for my kids; I got a doll, Woody from Toy Story, a Cars guitar, and new bibs (I have 4 kids 4 and under). For friends and loved ones I usually always bake. :)

The last gift I bought was a tiny red sweater for my Yorkie!! It got cold here in Dallas and my poor dog just got groomed!
He also got an assortment of balls and bones for his Birthday on Christmas Eve. Shhhhhhh he loves presents, so don’t tell!

I scored a “Let’s Rock” Elmo for my 4 yr. old niece yesterday. 2-day sale at Target, marked down to $30, someone who had also been looking for it (but didn’t go through every shelf in the store like I did) gave me a 25% coupon, which also included a $10 gift card… So, I paid $23 and got a $10 gift card… too bad I had already bought one for her 18 month old brother (my nephew) at full price the day they came out… but I figured they should each have one to avoid any Christmas morning sibling rivalry….
My very good friend of 15 years recently got a job in a very new city. So, to get her started in her very first apartment by herself, I scrounged through the 99cents store for things that she would need. Had so much fun putting in gag gifts in the bunch as well. But most importantly, I brought out the big bucks for a Brita water purifier at Target. It was hilarious when she opened up the gift bag and she screamed out “scissors!! I needed scissors!!!!”.

Believe it or not, I just purchased a years gym membership for my 78 year old Dads Christmas Gift…lol..I got him his first one four years ago when my mom passed away to encourage him to stay active. Love all the pictures! Such happy faces. :) The most recent gift I gave was a pair of light saber chopsticks to my hubby, who loves using chopsticks for everything from spaghetti to salad, and who likes Star Wars. It was THE perfect gift for him and he loves it!
I bought a box of chocolate truffles from Haighs (best chocolate in Australia!) as a hostess gift for a friend who is hosting a christmas get-together tomorrow night. I wish I could have made her something myself but this time of year has got the best of me!
