This is going to be fun. Cookiemag.com is having a birthday cake contest with fun prizes. All you have to do to enter is submit a photo of your best cake creation before midnight on September 14. That’s right … just a photo and you’re entered.
One grand prize winner will win:

$125 worth of cake-decorating supplies from Wilton
Two first prize winners will win:

Two actual reasons to make a cake, rather than making one just for a contest (though any reason to make a cake is a good one!).
One thing – your Wiltons and Clare Crespo links are a bit off .. you've got them as "www.blogspot.com/www.wiltons.com" and "www.blogspot.com/www.yummyfun.com".

August 16, 2009 04:50 PMI just entered the super mario cake I made my brother. All hand decorated, so stencils or guides. I love decorating for fun! A KitchenAid mixer would really really help me out in such an unbelievable way. There's no way I can afford one on my intern salary.

Just so it's clear, I'm only helping to judge. I don't have any input on the rules, but I did find this out for you guys :
Disney characters are fine.
Cupcakes are welcome
They are trying to update the slide show every few days or so with new submissions. They said they are only able to put up a selection of the entries though, not all of them.
They'll also be putting some on their food blog (one little bite) that don't appear in the slideshow every few days.
Also, I wish it was open internationally, but it's only for US. Good luck!
