Check out the frosting on these banana cupcakes. Super smooth and creamy, cream cheese buttercream … so delicious and creamy. Did I mention creamy? I also used a little added yellow to tint the otherwise cream colored creamy cream cheese frosting … you know, just to enhance the senses. I’m tricky like that.

Party them up a little bit with small pastel colored confetti sprinkles … just because it’s that kind of day.

And it gets even better. They want to be your friends, too. Not these, they’re mine. All mine.

When I bought these cutie pies from the Lollipop Workshop on etsy (also be cheery on flickr), I bought enough for two more sets. And I want two of you to have one. Well I want all of you to have them, but I only have two sets to give away. (Martian and Robot colors may vary from above.)
All you have to do to enter is give me some advice.
You see, Lollipop Workshop also sent me something else … A surprise … when she mailed the cupcake toppers.

I would open them both and then wrap them both. I always did that when I found my birthday and Christmas gifts. It never hurt anyone and made me seem like I could read minds. I always seemed to add a touch of magic to the night.
I would (carefully) open both, then close them back up, and act all surprised when you and your little helper open them together. (But, maybe I'm a bad person?!) Much depends on how long the wait is!

Okay, so I'm going to break tradition and say open yours first! Then you can use the knowledge to pump up your niece about what's in hers. Some call it manipulation, but it's the nicest kind–someone pumping you up and getting you so excited about what you're going to get.

I would have someone else open it for you in a different room so you don't "see" it but have that person tell you or describe what it is. Then have him/her rewrap it so your neice can enjoy opening it. I like to wait… I love the Anticipation!!! I learned my lesson along time ago during Xmas. After everyone went to sleep, I snuck down to the christmas tree and carefully opened ALL my gifts and rewrapped them so they looked just like I found them. The next morning, every one was full of happiness and surprise when opening their gifts for the first time… but I no longer shared in that same feeling since I knew already what every gift was. That was the Last time I opened up a gift before it was time!! It's important to share in the experience!!

I would hide them away until your helper comes back. Then when you pull them out again, it'll be like a surprise all over again!

Oh God! They are so adorable! I can only imagine what's in those boxes! I know the anticipation must be killing you, it's killing me! :-p

As much as I would love for you to tear right into them both I think I would be sweet if you waited to open them together.
Ohhh, I would totally wait. I love that you do these great things with your niece. I get mine for the weekend comming up and we do all sorts of beach things and art…It's so fun being an Aunt to a little girl!
I think you should definitely wait and open them together with your little helper! You know it'll be worth it! Make sure you show us what you guys got! :)
