I made a cake last week for my Daughters school, they were celebrating Italian Day, so I made them a Italian Creme Cake, My Daughter called to say it was a big hit and not one speck was left. My daughter’s three year birthday party- I made Red Velvet cupcakes with a homemade cream cheese frosting with lady bugs made from red m&m’s (made the lady bug spots with black food markers) Also made more cupcakes to celebrate with her preschool class- cupcakes with cream cheese frosting (left over) and topped it with a slice of strawberry! The two kinds of cupcakes were a hit with the kiddies and adults!!

My very best girlfriend coming back to visit Atlanta for the first time in a year since moving to D.C. She’s a sucker for Irish Car Bombs (the cocktail), so we made Guinness & Bailey’s cupcakes. I am not a cake person, BUT I adore cheesepie & cupcakes. So, my future-sister-in-law (yes, that’s a mouthful!) came to visit just 2 weekends ago I made my Grandma’s (or you know Eagle Brands) cheesepie recipe with cherries on top. Then, we went to my FAV little cupcake place (Sweet Reasons Cupcakes) and got a dozen wonderfully flavored gems like red velvet, not-so-plain vanilla, salted caramel & I melted & fattened up all weekend long! I love it!
I love cake. I could eat cake every day. If I had pretty stands, I would have cake every day! But the last time I made cake – was actually stout/bailey’s cupcakes for a friend’s St. Patty’s day birthday.
