I’ve been in spring break mode lately. You might have noticed since I didn’t bake last weekend. I think it’s because I recently went on a vacation which I haven’t done in a couple of years and it felt awesome to just relax and do nothing. And now being back home I can’t stop enjoying the warmth that’s finally taking over. Spring is probably my favorite time of the year. Unfortunately, in the south, you only have about seven minutes to enjoy the season before the hot and humid heat of summer takes over. Okay, okay – I’m exaggerating a little. It probably lasts eleven minutes. ; ) So you’ve got to enjoy all of them while they last. And I’m trying.

My favorite place to go is either a tropical beach where I can soak up some sun while sipping from a fruity drink and reading a good book or Paris, where I can stroll the streets and eat macarons until I’m sick of them (which never happens!). I love the silver metallic or majestic yellow one but since I have no clue yet how my new kitchen will look like, the silver metallic would probably be the better choice.

Of all the places I’ve been so far, I’d say VANCOUVER is one of my favorites. Great culture, friendly, clean, amazing views, etc. If you like great food, shopping, and beautiful outdoorsy things to see/do for relatively cheap compared to other cities, then Vancouver is a great choice. I’ll take one of those Majestic Yellow mixers, please. That color would brighten up anyone’s day!

Always somewhere on the Beach – the most beautiful ones we discovered in Italy – Island of Sardinia. I have never been to the Tropics – but these Beaches do have blue water, white beaches AND italian Food :).

A favorite thing to do is a toss up for us… We live in South Orange County, CA so we have annual passes to Disneyland (which we can’t get enough of) and we live 15 minutes from the beach. It was so hot this weekend that we went to the beach. We are grateful for the fun in our lives! :)

My absolute favourite thing to do on vacation is to visit an amusement park! You can’t beat that in my opinion.

Mmm, I am in love with Japan when the sakura trees are in full bloom! So that is my dream vacation destination!
