Characteristically Sweet

Here’s a fun round up of a bunch of character cake pops I’ve made. These are some of my favorite kind of pops to make because they’re the most challenging. I get excited when I can find just the right tiny candies and sprinkles to portray a character. Sixlets, jelly beans, sunflower seeds, M&M’s, confetti sprinkles and mini marshmallows are some of my go-tos. And of course, I couldn’t live without black edible ink writing pens. So handy for drawing smiles, eyes and especially orange cat stripes. : )

Take a look below and tell me if you see any of your favorites or who I should try to make next. There are just soooo many choices to choose from!!! Wizard of Oz, Star Wars, Nemo, Nursery Rhymes, Superheroes, Simpsons, Scooby, Pokemon, Pusheen, Tweety, Super Mario, Pac Man, Care Bears, Betty Boop, Totoro, Toy Story, Pinocchio, Shopkins, My Little Pony and even emoji. The possibilities go on and on and on.

  1. I just wanted to comment here in order to backlink to my client’s website but!: Oh my god, these things you’ve made are awesome! They’re so cute, so lovely. It must be so hard to stop yourself from not eating them whilst baking!

    Great, really, loved them.

  2. You are so incredibly skillful!! For your next adventure how about the characters from The Incredibles? Another favorite of mine is Dr. Who. The Doctors and their companions are probably too realistic to translate to cake pop form but some of the alien creatures would be fun. I think Strax would be particularly suited to cake pop form. https://www.google.com/search?q=strax&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjh75qhg5jTAhUW8WMKHRrOAO0Q_AUICCgB&biw=1366&bih=627 Thanks so much for sharing your fun creations!!

  3. Very beautiful, I love it. Thank you for sharing.

  4. STORM TROOPERS!

  5. So cute! I wish I had half of the artistic ability you do!

  6. You are so talented and your creations always make me smile! I’d love to see Care Bears, Shopkins, My Little Pony, Strawberry Shortcake, and Hello Kitty’s friend Merry Melody. Too much fun and cuteness!

  7. Totoro?!

    (Love your work :P )

  8. I would love to see you do Trolls from the new movie!

  9. They’re all so amazing! It’s hard to pick one, but if I had to, I’d go with Sing’s Buster. He looks SO realistic, it’s crazy!

Could you do some Harry Potter or Fantastic Beasts related pops? I would love to see a cute little Dobby or a Niffler :)

  10. Maybe tiny birthday cakes :)
I always enjoy everything you do.. so very creative!!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. TROLLS!!!!!!

  12. Boss Baby would be cool

  13. They all look so good, I can’t pick just one. With summer just around the corner how about a tiki, hibiscus/tropical flower, surf board or pink flamingo. I did make some “pina colada in a coconut shell” cake pops and they were a big hit. Or Chip & Dale, Heckle and Jeckle, or the kids from Southpark.

  14. Those are so cute! The Simpsons would be fun to see! So would the characters from Inside Out.

  15. Your creativity and talent always makes me smile! Thank you for sharing!

  16. How about Belle & the Beast? Or Moana & Maui?

  17. They’re all sooo very adorable! Question: how would you go about designing a cake pop to look like a rose for weddings, elegant parties, etc.? Now that would be totally amazing! Hoping you’d consider that and teach us how. ?

  18. They are all perfect.  I couldn’t pick just one. I do love Miss Piggy, but others too. Why don’t you do some more of the old cartoon characters.

  19. Wow, just wow! These are amazingly adorable!
